Ristorante Cavour In Ivrea

We had lunch on August 15th at this restaurant, which recently changed ownership. We found a good variety of Sicilian seafood dishes with a more modern twist, both in presentation and flavor. We recognized remarkable quality and attention to detail in preparation and presentation. The price was justified by the quality of the food, in a welcoming, discreet setting, and with attentive, prompt service.

The octopus was very good and the gnochetti are amazing!

I went to dinner with my husband, we ordered two tasting menus that guided us on a journey of Sicilian flavors of great respect. The octopus was excellent, the macaroni with sardines and also the swordfish rolls. The desserts were also surprising, namely the panna cotta with sage and the classic cannoli. The staff is kind and attentive, the room is clean and tidy even if not very appealing. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat good Sicilian fish

We tried the new management this evening and we were very satisfied. Our choice fell on: Saffron Maccheroncini, sardines, …. Annelletti with pascespada ragu, … And for dessert: Semifreddo, Sicilian almond granita Everything very good.

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante di pesce per festeggiare la Pasqua, e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Fin dal primo assaggio si capisce che qui la cucina non è solo mestiere, ma passione vera: ogni piatto è una sorpresa, originale nella composizione, impeccabile nella presentazione, e soprattutto... delizioso! Il menù pasquale è stato un viaggio tra sapori di mare rivisitati con creatività, senza mai perdere l’equilibrio tra innovazione e tradizione. Una vera coccola per il palato. Il personale? Gentilezza allo stato puro. Attenti, sorridenti e sempre disponibili, hanno reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Un pranzo indimenticabile, da consigliare a chi cerca qualcosa in più del solito ristorante: qui si vive un’esperienza. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Localino con menù specializzato in piatti di mare ma che offre anche alternative con carne. La proposta è accattivante, varia e genuina e le porzioni sono abbondanti. Al momento la proposta vegana/vegetariana è limitata ma prenotando in anticipo è possibile richiedere gli accorgimenti desiderati senza problemi. I dolci, gli gnocchi, il pane ed i grissini sono fatti in casa con amore. Cosa chiedere di più? Bravi! Torneremo presto :)
