Thanks to the 5-course tasting menu we had a real culinary experience, the dishes were excellent and looked after down to the smallest details, the service was impeccable, I highly recommend it

We have already been to this little restaurant. My partner and I have an intimate and refined atmosphere. There is a menu at the entrance. Guido Perino, the chef, offers several options, the customer can choose between the à la carte menu but also with a tasting, he has three, the number of courses changes, we chose the intermediate one with 5 courses. At the number of choice he served us a nice hot focaccia and bread always prepared in-house with sourdough. The first departures are starting to arrive, an appetizer consisting of smoked trout with mountain herbs, on a bed of salad and grilled pineapple (to be honest I would never have chosen it, I changed my mind, it was delicious, the earth had a delicate but at the same time strong taste, and then the grilled pineapple is that gem that you don't expect). The second appetizer was called shrimp with peppers and green sauce, good and tasty. The first courses arrive, a fresh pasta fusillone, with cod ragù, tasty but the main course, the one that struck me was the cannelloni alla nerano, hard with ricotta and courgettes inside, with a cream of mozzarella and pepper and with mussels. Very good is an understatement to describe the emotion that it gave me when I ate it.
The second course instead, we asked for a beef stew with green beans and dark chocolate for my partner and I took a grilled octopus with aubergines, buffalo cream and caramelised figs, this was out of this world. The end could not be missed and we chose the cream puff filled with chantilly with chocolate sauce. All good.

My boyfriend and I went to eat dinner and we had a great time! We took the 5-course menu and each one was better than the other, with quality ingredients and carefully chosen combinations. A well-kept and tidy place in the center of Turin. If you want to discover flavors and eat well, this is the right place. The owner is a kind and courteous person. We will definitely be back, highly recommended

Casa Amelie è stata una piacevolissima scoperta. Lo chef riesce a far stare egregiamente i suoi commensali nonostante sia solo in cucina, con l'aiuto di un gentilissimo cameriere. Si vede la passione e la voglia di lavorare al meglio, in ogni piatto. Unica piccola pecca, il locale, per via dell'umidità del piano di sopra e il freddo al piano di sotto, ma la posizione di fianco alla Consolata è ottima. Torneremo volentieri!

The restaurant presents refined and good quality cuisine: the three courses offered in the €35 menu were well executed, with selected ingredients and interesting combinations. The dessert was also pleasant, as was the service, kind and attentive.
Having said this, I cannot hide a certain disappointment in the quality/quantity/price ratio. The portions were decidedly small - more for tasting than for an actual meal - and, considering the cost of the menu, we would have expected something more generous or at least more complete.
In 12 people, with only water, 4 bottles of mediocre wine, an arneis and a n and a dessert each, the final bill of €60 per person was disproportionate compared to the overall experience.
In summary: a valid place on a culinary level, but I wouldn't go back if the setting remains this way. It's a shame, because the conditions were all there.

Our visit to Casa Amélie unfortunately did not live up to expectations. We were placed on the -1 floor, in a poorly maintained environment, with dirty floors and walls. Unfortunately, my jacket got ruined and my dog got dirty too, making the experience unpleasant from the start.
We ordered appetizers and, among the chosen dishes, a tuna with teriyaki sauce. Unfortunately, the fish had an unpleasant taste and appeared not to be fresh. Furthermore, the fact that it was served on a hot plate further altered it. The very courteous waiter immediately apologized and assured us that the dish would not be charged.
Subsequently, there was an error in ordering a second course, which was brought to us by mistake and then offered as a gesture of courtesy. However, when it came to the bill, we still found ourselves paying for the tuna, and the situation was made even more unpleasant by some inappropriate jokes from the chef.
Overall, an unsatisfactory experience, which left a bad taste in our mouths. I hope that the place can improve the quality of service and attention to detail

Proprietario davvero gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, anche i calici di vino in abbinamento al menù erano buoni e ricercati. Degno di nota il Vitello Bottargato e gli gnocchi, materie prime di primissima scelta. Servizio attento e professionale.
Decisamente consigliato, bravi!

The restaurant is exceptional, a real find. Very reasonable prices. The reinterpretations of Piedmontese cultural dishes are the real highlight, the agnolotti are particularly recommended. The pastiera is a must try.
