Ristorante Capitano In Cervia

As for the food, we tried four different dishes. The risotto and shrimp with Cervia salt and rosemary were good; personally, I would have preferred less salt and one more shrimp. The passatelli with mantis shrimp and the Captain's chitarra pasta were mediocre. Portions were average. Service was inattentive despite their courtesy. The location and decor are interesting; we suggest making some small improvements to the service and dishes to improve the overall rating. Prices are average.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Ristorante Capitano on an evening when I was passing through the Cervia canal. What can I say? Excellent quality/price ratio and exquisite staff. One of those places that leaves you with a wonderful memory and stands out from the rest.

The hospitality and welcome of the staff, along with the absolutely excellent food, are the absolute highlights! My warmest compliments to Morena and her staff for their excellent management of everything!

I had dinner here with some friends and overall the experience was positive. The restaurant is in a beautiful location on the canal harbor, truly pleasant, especially in the evening. I had a trio of cold fish appetizers and shrimp gnocchi: both were very good, well-presented, and made with quality ingredients. You can tell they put a lot of attention into both the plating and the cooking. The only less positive note was the wait time, which was a bit long. The prices, in my opinion, were also slightly above average, although the quality of the food partly justifies them. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a seafood dinner in a beautiful location, but be prepared to spend a bit more and have a bit of a wait.

You eat really well and you spend the right amount, the only shame is that there is no jug of wine... and don't tell me that to be classy you only have bottles...

We went for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had an appetizer, a first course, and mixed fried fish as a side. The food was excellent, with fresh, carefully selected fish. The waiters were very welcoming. We had a great time. Dinner cost about €67, including water and a single glass of wine.

Top place! Not to mention the truly top-notch raw fish, pleasant atmosphere, and no communists! I'll be back!

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant last night, and I have to say that from the moment we sat down until we left, everything was excellent! Excellent service, a lovely and super courteous waiter. Not to mention the dishes, fresh fish and attention to detail. I highly recommend it ⭐️

I can't understand this negative review. My husband and I stayed in Cervia for a week in early June and ate at Il Capitano three times. The waiters were all very kind and helpful, and the food was simply amazing. Anyone who visits Cervia should definitely eat at Il Capitano at least once. And never forget, wherever you are: courtesy and respect are always based on reciprocity. On our next visit to Cervia, we will definitely eat at Il Capitano again.
