We went for my daughter's graduation. The restaurant already has a good reputation and it lived up to its reputation. Delicious fresh fish, elegant but not stuffy service, very friendly without being overbearing. The boiled appetizer and raw appetizer were fabulous. Highly recommended!

We were with friends in this place, what can I say, everything was really excellent, mixed appetizers from first to second courses, really excellent fresh fish, good wines and to finish a good dessert, great friendly staff, I will definitely return, ok 👌.

Wonderful dinner... excellent seafood. We focused on appetizers (grilled razor clams, an off-menu item of the day... and their house antipasto, where we truly had the opportunity to sample so many local specialties... there were at least 10 different items). Then some of us had a first course (marinara risotto) and others a second course (grilled octopus and calamari on a bed of cherry tomatoes and Taggiasca olives... amazing), and everyone was extremely satisfied. And then dessert... a fitting end to an excellent dinner. So what can I say: when we return to this area, we'll definitely be back and will definitely speak highly of you. THANK YOU for the wonderful evening.

Dinner, a reunion with former colleagues in a nice little setting. I only knew Il Canaletto by name, but now I know it in practice. Nothing to complain about or add about the quality of the fish served. Impeccable service (even too much so). The bottle(s) of wine were superb (which was just right). I'll definitely be back (as a couple this time).

Qualità dei prodotti molto buona, servizio cordiale ed abbastanza veloce. Prezzi in linea per un buon ristorante di pesce. In media sui 50-60 Euro a persona per 2 portate (a persona), vino, caffè e dolce.

20/12/2025: I had dinner with my boyfriend at L’Angoetto de Barby and it was truly a wonderful discovery. The restaurant is small but very well-kept, with an intimate and pleasant atmosphere. It's run by a very kind, friendly, and helpful young man and woman who make you feel at ease right away. Due to its small size, I highly recommend booking in advance. We started with a mixed raw fish appetizer of the day (belly, sea bass, and swordfish), very fresh and of excellent quality. For main courses, we chose a slice of tuna belly (not on the menu) and amberjack with escarole. To accompany the belly, we also ordered sweet potato with yogurt sauce, a perfect and very balanced side dish. For wine, we relied on the owner's recommendation: a very interesting list, with many organic and unique wines. A good choice, much appreciated by both. Total cost €140 including wine, absolutely in line with the quality offered. Service, food, and bill were top notch. We'll definitely be back. 🍷🐟
