Ristorante Camaldoli di Tassini In Poppi

We arrived at this place for lunch on January 2nd, and although we had called because there were 22 of us, they told us that we couldn't book. When we arrived, however, we found two beautiful tables already beautifully set. We ordered the platters. They are served on a large plate and The Hunter has an extra saucer with polenta with wild boar ragù. The ingredients seem to be fresh and tasty, especially I took the Cacciatore and the polenta was really rich and the cold cuts very inviting. The Schiacciata that accompanied the dish was delicious: hot with a tender and crunchy center on the outside. The dishes with Chianina meat burgers are very abundant. If potatoes are included in the dish, they are served in a straw paper bag which is also hot and crunchy. As well as mushrooms and onion rings. In my opinion, for the price they have, they are an excellent solution for lunch. The service is fast and all the staff are courteous.

Exceptional. Delicious tagliatelle with mushrooms but not only those, everything there is good. Abundant, quality dishes, fast service, fair prices.

We spent a pleasant evening at the restaurant, impeccable service with friendly and courteous staff, excellent cuisine with tasty and genuine dishes.

Pranzo con amici super affamati dopo una bellissima passeggiata all'eremo. Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto con una bella vista sui boschi. Menù completo di primi, secondi e panini buonissimi. Provato il "ghiotto" (15 euro) panino con carne di chianina e pancetta accompagnato da patate e porcini fritti, una specialità da 5 stelle. Vino bianco e nero "borbotto" alla spina eccellente. Come dolce crostata di visciole e gelato al pistacchio (6 euro) davvero delizioso. Consigliatissimo

Phenomenal value for money. The porcini mushrooms, both fried and sautéed, and especially the caps are excellent. You can try all three on the fantastic mushroom menu. The dessert, sour cherry tart, was also very popular

Now a historic and institutional place, excellent flatbread for years now and top-notch pastry shop!!!!
