A truly lovely evening! We went here for dinner on a mini-vacation in the country. They're super dog-friendly, the waitresses were welcoming and helpful, and the space is a bit cramped and quiet (it was a bit uncomfortable at times), but for a quiet, quiet experience, it's perfect. Now for the food... the first courses were truly delicious, the polenta excellent, and the homemade pasta "drunk" with Montepulciano red wine and guanciale was truly divine, one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten.
For the second course, they served us some very good baked potatoes. A small negative note, however, is that the grilled cheese was served too cold to eat or enjoy.

A lovely place in the center of Pescasseroli. Simple cuisine but made with quality ingredients! This restaurant is worth a stop for dinner. Prices are reasonable for a tourist destination! I recommend booking due to the high number of guests. My only suggestion for the owners would be to have a patio heater for outdoor dining, given the nice, cool temperatures, even on September evenings!

We had lunch on September 22nd. The food was very good and plentiful. It's a shame about the chaos caused by the various construction works nearby. Perhaps the waiters should have suggested we sit inside to avoid any worries. By then, we were sitting outside and didn't move.

The food was excellent, nothing to complain about. The service, however, was truly terrible. We had to look for the waiter to order, then the used plates weren't cleared away, and we ended up with a pile of dirty plates on the table. For a second, we had to go looking for the waiter again, etc. In short, truly terrible service. Oh, and of course they'd made a mistake on the final bill, by a few euros, but still...
