A classic traditional Bergamo trattoria, with a daily fixed-price menu (€15 for lunch on weekends), generous casoncelli (a type of pasta), and tender pork shank accompanied by polenta. Typical Bergamo Sunday dishes, certainly not those of a high-end restaurant, but a very casual trattoria. Perfect for a quiet dinner with friends or family, reservations recommended.

Family-run restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. If you like to eat a lot and spend little, this is the place for you.

Typical Bergamo cuisine: I absolutely loved the casoncelli and ossobuco. Absolutely affordable prices for top-notch cuisine. The owners and their staff make you feel right at home. Despite a sign saying "No Dogs Allowed," they screen your four-legged friend at the entrance, and if he passes the test (90% sure!), they'll be in too! There's no getting around it: if you stop in here, you'll have a wonderful culinary and wine experience, and you'll never want to leave—if it weren't for your full belly!

We were there on Saturday for a birthday, and I have to say we had a great time! I ordered casoncelli and roast beef...my review of the casoncelli is very positive! Good, sweet but not too sweet, they remind me a lot of the ones my grandmother used to make. In my opinion, don't trust the negative reviews; you're either used to high-end restaurants where they serve you rubbish, or you've never been to a home-style trattoria! Congratulations to everyone.
