The food was decent, the roe was a little cold inside. I would have expected more game on the menu.

A simple place with a seemingly simple menu, but only because of how the dishes are listed. In reality here we look more at substance than form: the flavors and aromas are excellent, and the digestibility of the dishes is also excellent. The artichoke soup and the dish with the "gial" are very good. An excellent list of bottled wines. While "bulk" is not adequate considering the area, a paradise for great wines. There is a large and convenient car park near the restaurant.

This is truly a place where you feel at home! The service is excellent, the waitress is smiling and accommodating. Homemade food, with fresh ingredients and quickly on your table after you have ordered a meal. Quality wines and delicacies, all praise for the overall impression!

Il posto è spoglio e in fin dei conti non molto accogliente (consiglio di non mettere più la musica da discoteca all’ingresso, che poi fortunatamente è stata spenta), ma il servizio è efficiente e il cibo buono. Molto apprezzabili le verdure e il prosciutto col rafano; mediocre il pane e la carne di cinghiale, arricchita però da un sugo assai saporito; buoni i dessert fatti in casa. La carta dei vini ha opzioni interessanti. I prezzi sono onesti.

I admit I had high expectations. The blecs with the cock were partly satisfied. Partly disregarded. You see the lack of venison and shank from the menu. And we're talking about a booked Saturday night. If we start from the assumption that the place is known for its game... well

Typical local cuisine - eaten outdoors on a beautiful day at the end of September - maltagliati with both rooster and mushroom sauce and then grilled porcini mushrooms and breaded drumstick, both delicious. Quality local wines (and how could it not be?). Service with a slightly gruff but effective girl and a very good and kind one. The kind manager makes an absolutely correct calculation. To remember.

02/01/2025: Historic restaurant, excellent quality food. Attentive and pleasant service.
10/12/2024: L'ambiente ha quella leggera patina d'altri tempi, nel senso più romantico e bello del termine. Dall arredamento dall'aria apparentemente modesto al servizio apparentemente semplice, tutto fa rivivere un tempo ed una tranquillità oramai forse perse. Cucina sublime, portate nelle giuste porzioni. E che dire della titolare, e fantastico chiacchierare con lei e sentire quanta passione nelle sue parole per il suo lavoro.
