A wonderful experience after a day of skiing in the surrounding mountains, a great way to end the day. The traditional dishes and meat dishes are delicious. Excellent service and value for money.

Sunday lunch after the Sant'Orso fair. The waiter who handled orders, set tables, etc. was very patient, knowledgeable, and polite—well done! The mocetta tagliolini with lard and chestnuts was delicious, and an honorable mention for the homemade chestnut gnocchi with meat sauce—so good I had seconds! The Valdostana was also unusual, but filling. The price was fair for the quality. The restroom was located in the upper part of the restaurant (to use it, you have to go outside, which is a bit inconvenient). The restaurant is small and intimate; reservations are recommended.

We sat at the bar because there was no seating in the dining room (it was lunchtime). But we weren't disappointed at all: the bar server quickly organized everything for us, explained the dishes, and served us promptly. All the dishes were delicious. I ordered the baked pork shank – perfectly cooked, not too much fat, served with braised cabbage and corn polenta. A delight! My wife ordered a salad with warm French cheese – also a bellissimo!

Very small, cramped space. The dishes are neither generous nor gourmet. The quality is good, but the prices are excessively high. What disappointed us most was the wine, which was sour and had fermented...from two different bottles...

Strolling through the center of Aosta, we decided to stop for lunch. The restaurant is cozy and divided into two separate rooms: a main one overlooking the street and a slightly smaller secondary room. In the secondary room, to reach the restroom, you have to go outside and pass through the other room, an impractical detail, especially on cold days. Our table was next to a closet closed only by a curtain, which caused rather annoying drafts. The menu is quite extensive and offers several typical Aosta Valley dishes, many featuring fondue. We started with the soups of the day—onion and cabbage—both very flavorful and filling, served with stale bread as is traditional. The kids had the lasagna: decent but a bit dry. Among the main courses, the shank of pork was a big hit at the table, truly tasty and well-cooked. The side dish, however, was less convincing, rather tasteless and lacking in consistency. The sausage and fondue, though rich and generous, had a truly intense flavor, so much so that my wife couldn't finish it. The "valdostrana," a sort of local cordon bleu, didn't thrill me. The appetizer of three bruschettas, however, was good, carefully prepared and tasty. The wine list is extensive but pricey: there's practically nothing under €30, a questionable choice for those looking for a cheap accompaniment to lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the service, but overall the experience didn't entirely convince me: the atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable, the dishes were successful but a bit uncertain, and the prices didn't quite match the perceived quality. I wouldn't dismiss it, but I wouldn't recommend it lightly either. I'd say three stars is a fair assessment.

Great place. We had a hard time finding a place to have dinner on Saturday, January 3rd. The very kind host found us a place for four for dinner, and it was absolutely worth it. A platter of delicious and refined Aosta Valley products, practically perfect first courses (the fondue was a touch extra), and the entercôte was also very good. To round out the meal, a spectacular dessert with one of the best apple pies I've ever eaten. The bill came to just €40 per person, including one platter, three first courses, one second course, three desserts, one bottle of wine, three waters, and four coffees plus a cover charge. If you get the chance, go there!

Truly delicious, typical Valdostan dinner. We tried the polenta concia, ratatouille, Valdostan Rana cutlet, and cabbage soup. Everything was perfect, with the cutlet and soup being particularly excellent. The waiter service was also excellent. The place is a bit small, so every time someone opens the door, it gets cold. Needless to say, the only negative was a Frenchman who kept opening the door.

22/02/2026: Beautiful place. You can get an excellent breakfast as early as 6:00 a.m., which is very convenient if you have an early ski trip, as it's high season in the mountains and therefore crowded. The croissants are delicious, the juice is freshly squeezed, and the coffee is good. The place is charming and welcoming. The vending machine for pastries, water, and drinks outside is a great idea.
25/01/2026: Very good! Excellent pastries, homemade panettone, excellent meringues and biscuits. The freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious, and they have a wide selection of teas and herbal teas. There are a few tables, but they're very cozy. There are standard tables and chairs in the front, and two small, low tables in the back with sofas and soft armchairs.

22/03/2026: I'm talking about the restaurant: the menu is very limited and there's no choice. Service is extremely slow. The dishes are overly mixed, but not executed like gourmet dishes.
08/03/2026: I've only been to this place for the restaurant, but I've viewed the rooms on the website. A beautiful, traditional wooden restaurant with a large central fireplace. Run by a young couple and supported by a young staff. Kindness and courtesy reign supreme. The menu combines contradiction and innovation. Excellent products.
