Ristorante Bilacus In Bellagio

Service was poor, plates were removed before we had finished Noone came to check in to ask how the good was My empty glass was removed from the table but noone asked if I wanted another drink (... I did...) Food was delicious, tasty, but definitely over priced. Preferred restaurant Barchetta for the pasta quality and half the price. No complaints with food quality- very fresh. Atmosphere was busy and bustling but felt very entitled and think we were just overlooked because we werent spending hundreds on wine. Overall a nice evening, but nothing special. Definitely would not come back.

The food was delicious and the seating was really nice, but the staff were quite rude.

After reading the positive reviews, I decided to have lunch here. The staff gave us a warm welcome and we liked the atmosphere, it was on the outside terrace which was very nice. I had a burrata in tomato and a beef fillet, for dessert an escafredo, everything was very good.

We had amazing dinner at the Bilacus. Food was excellent (black truffle tagliolini was finger licking), service is great, their wine menu is very impressive. And cherry on the cake: we had a table overlooking the famous Bellagio staircase during sunset. Beautiful.

This restaurant has a beautiful shady terrace- but that’s the only good thing about it. The food is below average, not terrible but not good either and it’s pricey. The waiters were impatient and unkind with our kids. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

We had a carpaccio to start that was really fresh, a risotto with scampi that was really tasty and the gnocchi that was delicious. The sommelier really cared about our choices in order to suggest a wine that offered a good pairing. The atmosphere on the terrace was lovely. Attention points: - The temperature really drops in Bellagio in the evening. Carry a cardigan if you’re planning to dine outside (this terrace is worthy). - Most of the good and recommended restaurants need reservations. We didn’t reserve and had to wait ~ 10 mins to be accommodated (we were lucky with this one, in others in Bellagio the waiting list was so long that we needed to check other spots).

The food and ambience were excellent — beautifully prepared dishes in a lovely setting. Unfortunately, the service was dismissive and entitled, which really took away from the experience. On top of that, we were charged €3 just for asking for an extra plate — not for splitting a dish, but simply for the plate itself. It felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. The wine list is enormous but almost unusable for non-locals; very few options are available by the glass, so you’re forced to rely entirely on the sommelier’s suggestions. Bellagio is a tourist hub, and it shows: the restaurant seems to rely on its location and assumes guests will tolerate this kind of treatment.

I can't say that I didn't like something, but everything is relative. And in comparison with other restaurants in Bellagio, the price-quality ratio here is very different We ordered the fish of the day and tartar. The fish was normal, but it was not tender enough. Nothing special The meat in the tartar was also somehow too elastic, it should be softer and more tender. There were not enough spices or some interesting sauce for the tartar, it lacks flavor. I was very surprised that there was no salt/pepper on the table and when serving the tartar it was not even offered There were also no salads, no vegetables, side dishes, etc. on the menu The pros are a good wine list, location, the staff tries, at the end they treat you to cookies In general, it's okay, for one time. There are better places in this town

Scoperto quasi per caso troviamo questo locale dove gentilezza professionalità e maestria rendono incantevole e indimenticabile l’esperienza. Ottimo piatti dalla cucina con arditi e riusciti avvistamenti e creazione di sapori naturali e intensi. La lista dei vini rilegata è con decine di pagine: da sola merita una visita. E l’amore e la esperienza del sommelier rendono la serata veramente preziosa. L’incanto di una discreta elegantissima terrazza su una delle più famose rampe di Bellagio corona un momento che i frequentatori, provenienti da tutti i continenti conserveranno gelosamente nei loro cuori. Una gemma d’Italia. Bravissimi!!!

Belle terrasse, service prévenant bien qu'un peu expéditif, plats de très grande qualité (le risotto est à tomber par terre), la carte des vins est très complète et les tarifs très cohérents
