Dopo aver provato un paio di ristoranti Russi e altrettanti Georgiani in città, decidiamo di ampliare la nostra visione recandoci al "Beluga", una realtà che si pone come fautrice di una più varia cucina dell'Est Europa. Iniziamo con alcuni antipasti tra cui l'immancabile Shuba, dei fagottini di brisè ripieni di funghi e un misto di pesci affumicati su cui spicca tra tutti per gusto l'aringa, tutto buono e ben cucinato. Come portate principali il mio compagno va sul Šašlyk, il famoso spiedo di carne marinata del Caucaso mentre io casco sul vitello del principe Orlov, un piatto di carne davvero sfizioso reso goloso dalla presenza di formaggio, cipolle e mele, servito su di una piastra rovente. Lo spiedo non è male ma non vince per succulenza della carne e dimensioni rispetto a quello mangiato in un altro ristorante, mentre al principe Orlov do la palma per il miglior piatto della serata. Concludiamo con frittelle alla ricotta e torta al cioccolato con ciliege, vodka liscia e una alle prugne. Al Beluga abbiamo mangiato bene, sebbene non meglio di altre realtà operanti nella medesima cucina, ma vince per l'accuratezza dei piatti e del servizio, impeccabile. Location tipica, che fa respirare l'atmosfera dell'Est Europa, ben fatto.

Restaurant with typical Russian cuisine and more... it was fun to taste flavors different from ours, various combinations of meat and fish but above all what I loved was the place, beautiful, welcoming, with 2 fireplaces, lots of typical Russian objects eastern houses, tables well spaced to maintain privacy, it really felt like home! An experience to try Super recommended!

Intimate and tasty dinner for two. The dining room staff suggested the tasting menu to us to taste and discover Russian culture, we appreciated the different courses with always delicate and typical flavours. The atmosphere is intimate, tables well spaced so you can converse undisturbed, the dishes are well presented and their characteristics explained. The dessert was much appreciated and even with a full belly it was a delight to end a pleasant evening.

We had been looking for a restaurant with Eastern cuisine for a long time, we finally found a reference! Authentic cuisine of excellent quality, very kind staff and a location that seems like a small wedding favour. We will be back as soon as possible!

Very good food and extensive menu, even if the portion of ravioli was a little small. The environment is very nice, welcoming and characteristic. The place isn't very big but thanks to this there is a nice atmosphere. The service was fast and the waitress very courteous. The overall experience was certainly positive. The only thing that left us a little surprised was the €5 cover charge per person... quite high in our opinion. Highly recommended.

Siamo tornati dopo un paio d'anni dalla prima volta che abbiamo cenato qui e abbiamo avuto una riconferma dell'alta qualità dei piatti. Il menu è stato rinnovato, infatti abbiamo assaggiato sia specialità che ci erano piaciute la volta scorsa sia piatti nuovi e ad ogni boccone ci siamo immersi in un viaggio gastronomico nell'Europa dell'Est. Consigliato e riconfermato!

Restaurant with excellent Eastern European cuisine, which offers typical traditional dishes but also some modern reinterpretations. Characteristic environment and possibility of doing karaoke. Advised!

Very authentic restaurant with great staff: super friendly. The dishes are fantastic and the price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.

We've been here several times with friends and the culinary experience is superb, Beluga for us is the best ex-ussr cuisine restaurant in Milan. We normally take a variety of dishes for a table degustation and love aaaall of them. Home-made traditional liquor is a must try as a digestif.
