It is an excellent place for a quiet holiday: right on the sea, very normal prices, full board includes a place on the beach with deckchairs and umbrella. The food is good and the rooms are small but clean.

We stayed the week of August, we had a very good time. Very quiet place, isolated from the center of Marina di Grosseto but which can be reached in 5 minutes with the bicycles provided by the hotel. The food is excellent and to accompany the dishes offered by the hotel there is a vast buffet of vegetables and fruit. The beach is adjacent to the hotel and in 3 minutes you are at the seaside. An excellent holiday for those who love to relax and unplug.

Hotel Belmare - An Oasis of Warmth and Hospitality I spent 10 days at the Hotel Belmare, a place that, despite showing the signs of time, gave me an unforgettable stay. The decor may be a little dated, but what it lacks in modernity it more than makes up for in the welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. From the first moment, I was welcomed with a warmth and kindness that is rarely encountered. The owners and staff were extraordinarily helpful and always ready to make me feel at home. Every gesture, every smile, was authentic and made me feel part of a big family. The hotel lobby, with its mix of stone and wood, exudes a feeling of rusticity and comfort that immediately puts you at ease. The rooms, although simple, are clean and carefully looked after. The absence of Wi-Fi in the rooms, available only in the lobby, might seem like an inconvenience, but for me it was an invitation to really unplug. After all, when you're on holiday, it's nice to be able to forget your phone and enjoy the moment. The hotel is located in a perfect location, just a few steps from the beach. Spending the days under the colorful umbrellas, with the sound of the waves in the background, was a real treat. The evening walk along the shoreline, illuminated by the soft lights of the sunset, was one of the most relaxing experiences of my stay. The cuisine of the Hotel Belmare deserves a separate chapter, an authentic journey into local flavours, where each dish is prepared with love and care that are reflected in every bite. Eating on the veranda, with the sea breeze gently caressing your face, was a pleasure not only for the palate, but also for the soul. Fried seafood, for example, is a poetry of flavours. The calamari, golden and crunchy, are so light that they seem to melt in your mouth, accompanied by lemon wedges that add a fresh and vibrant note. It is a dish that tastes of tradition, of the sea and of passion for cooking. Homemade pastas, such as pici served with a delicate seafood sauce, are a masterpiece of simplicity and refinement. The pasta is perfectly al dente, wrapped in a velvety cream that combines in a perfect combination of sweetness and flavor. It is a dish that tells a story, that of a cuisine that knows how to enhance flavors without overpowering them. And how can we not mention the appetizers, such as the polenta crostini with creamed cod. Each bite is an explosion of textures and flavours, where the creaminess of the cod blends with the crunchiness of the polenta, creating a perfect balance. It is a dish that celebrates the simplicity of the ingredients, elevating them to something special. In summary, the cuisine of the Hotel Belmare is a sensorial experience, where each dish is designed to provide not only flavour, but emotions. It is a place where food is a language, an art form that tells of the passion and dedication of the chefs who prepare it. The owners truly deserve every compliment for the love and dedication they put into making each guest feel special.

Mid-August week. five stars for the cuisine, proximity to the sea, kindness...and spacious car parking and free to come and go. The rooms are a little dated, but safe, air conditioning, minibar and a large balcony.
