Family lunch, really friendly staff and great food!

If you want to eat traditional pizzoccheri and sciat you have to try them here. I am from Valtellina but I haven't lived here for a few years, I struggled to find dishes that reminded me of my childhood, I found them here! Thank you! Highly recommended. Really friendly staff who definitely deserve credit.

Excellent food and staff, honest prices

Abbiamo pranzato al Belandin, dove il servizio segue uno stile particolare: alla francese, con i camerieri che passano tra i tavoli con le portate e servono direttamente nel piatto, se si desidera. Non c’è un menù degustazione con prezzo fisso: ogni piatto, inclusi eventuali bis, viene aggiunto singolarmente al conto, cosa che può non essere subito chiara. Il locale è in vecchio stile, ricorda l’atmosfera di una pensione di una volta: semplice, pulito, con un arredamento datato e un’impronta molto tradizionale. I piatti che abbiamo assaggiato non ci hanno lasciato particolarmente impressionati: tutto corretto, ma nulla che spicchi davvero. Nel complesso, un pranzo discreto, con un’impostazione fuori dal comune, ma che non ci ha convinti del tutto.

The review is ONLY about the restaurant as we did not stay. Recommended for pizzoccheri "as they used to be made" I must say that they did not disappoint us as well as the sciatt which are eaten like cherries .... one leads to another !!! The staff is very kind and the owner with genuine manners delights customers with his stories but above all he is very proud to show photos of his enormous pumpkins that he grows in the garden. When we want pizzoccheri it will be our point of reference.

Locale con arredamento annesso Settanta (o forse prima), ma servizio molto attento e cordiale. Qualità delle materie prime eccellente, pizzoccheri veramente super. Locale consigliato. Torneremo.

What can I say...I started with the idea of ​​a small guesthouse, one of those real, sincere, honest ones that can only be found in mountain places...and this idea has become reality! Obviously a beautiful reality! The room (we were in the restaurant building) was spacious, clean and had a view (as you will see from the photos) that would leave you speechless. A genuine restaurant, very honest in its prices, the dining room staff were always ready and very kind, it was like feeling at home! The owner reflects his land and his mountains, rough but at the same time available and above all he loves his job. Thanks from my family, we will definitely be back.
