An ideal place to relax and watch the hustle and bustle of Piazza Giacomo Matteotti over an ice cream, coffee, or a drink. A large selection of spritzes, cocktails, and long drinks, some served in huge glasses and some decorated with particular care. Paper straws are thankfully unheard of here. The drinks menu is a photo album, creating a holiday mood, just like the drinks themselves. Advanced bargoers won't find what they're looking for here, however; appearance and, if necessary, XXL quantities take precedence over exquisite taste. Casual bargoers, however, will certainly enjoy themselves. Tip: The "Africa" ​​long drink, sweetly decorated with a dolphin head made from a banana. The drink itself tastes very sweet, you have to be willing to try it. Bar snacks include the four typical options: peanuts, corn kernels, salted biscuits, and those indefinable dough rings. A pleasant surprise: On our second visit, we had pistachios instead of corn. Less pleasant: Although the restaurant was supposed to be open until 2 a.m. daily according to Google Maps, the bill was placed on our table at 11:45 p.m. without being asked. Shortly thereafter, the lights outside were demonstratively turned off. On a Saturday!

I had the pleasure of being served by Silvia at Bar Bardolino – and it was simply fantastic! Silvia is not only incredibly friendly and attentive, but also brings a warm, positive energy that brightens up the whole place. She has a real sense of what guests need, even before you know it. The coffee was excellent, the service was quick and friendly, and you simply feel welcome. You can tell that Silvia puts her heart and soul into her job. A visit to Bar Bardolino is without a doubt a must – especially thanks to Silvia. Thank you for the great atmosphere and excellent service!

A really great little bar on a quiet side street. Very friendly service.

Favorite coffee! Giuseppe greeted us every morning with a very friendly and warm welcome. He's got the hang of the cream and his portafilter machine. The cashier is also very friendly, although I unfortunately can't remember his name... Thank you all, you're great!
