I spent New Year's Eve there with some friends; there were about fifteen of us, not exactly young, with a few kids. The place, upstairs, isn't bad; the ground floor is more of a bar/pizzeria. The food was a basic New Year's Eve menu at a fair price, considering the occasion.
Everything seemed to suggest a quiet and discreet dinner, but the illusion was shattered by the arrival of a group of about fifty twenty-somethings who, presumably, had left any manners at home, if they ever had them!
Stadium chants and/or excessively vulgar chants, loud music, if you can call it music, and endless shouting. Probably several of them were already tipsy upon arrival. Suddenly, it became impossible to talk to anyone who wasn't directly next to you.
It was no use asking for a little more restraint; in fact, as I suspected, it only made the situation worse.
Obviously, the managers' only fault was not thinking about it sooner and notifying us, but when we complained, they were kind enough to move us downstairs. From then on, however, it was a remedied situation, much to our and the waiters' inconvenience. Never mind.

Entering Taverna del Cacciatore is a true leap into the past.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, a true place from another era, authentic and unique.
To the uninitiated, the exterior might seem modest and, to some, disheartening...
In fact, this very simplicity is its strength; you immediately sense the atmosphere of a family kitchen: wood worn by life, old chairs like those of our grandparents, and the aromas of traditional specialties.
The steaming fornarina offered before the meal embraces you with authenticity and flavor.
The generously portioned homemade passatelli, topped with mushrooms, warms your heart.
For the second portion of fornarina, we had to find the excuse of the (special!) roast potatoes...
The fluffy and soft artisanal tiramisu concludes the lunch wonderfully.
The extremely polite, kind, and welcoming staff; Bar and chatter on the ground floor, while the restaurant is on the first floor.
I recommend this corner of the Marche region to anyone seeking authentic cuisine with a family atmosphere: you'll find home-cooked dishes full of passion, heartfelt laughter, and the warmth of a real table.
