Ristorante Bar pizzeria Orfea In Roverè veronese

We had lunch at this restaurant while visiting friends in San Francesco. We ordered four pizzas, a rib-eye steak, mountain tortellini, and a lasagna. The first problem was the service: the first and second courses were served well before the pizzas, forcing us to eat separately. A truly unpleasant organizational decision. As for the pizza, unfortunately, we weren't convinced. My Masonella (eggplant, zucchini, walnuts, and parmesan shavings) was rather salty and overall not particularly tasty. The ingredients were okay, but between the dough and the flavors, the final result wasn't what I expected. My partner and boyfriend were also dissatisfied with their pizzas. The place is nice, but average. Overall, the experience was below expectations.

Overall, the restaurant was good. The dishes were also in line with the local expectations. Perhaps some local tradition has been lost, but these are the times we live in. Prices are in line with the market.

We ate on the outdoor veranda, which was very pleasant and breezy, with little noise. Excellent pizza, very friendly and helpful service. Congratulations!

After a pleasant excursion in the Cimbrian districts of Rovere' Veronese, it was a pleasant surprise to find this informal and welcoming environment where we were welcomed with kindness and warmth. We had fettuccine with courtyard ragù, spaghetti with cream of parmesan cheese, pepper, and crispy pancetta, polenta with venison and polenta with rabbit, all very good. The vegetables were served buffet-style. Even the desserts, coffee, and unfiltered beers did not disappoint. A truly positive sensory experience.

Sunday lunch. Excellent service. There's a buffet of cooked vegetables. We had a perfectly cooked rib-eye steak with vegetables. The meschita wine was excellent. The price was fair.
