I had the pleasure of having a coffee and being served by a very kind girl who also gave me some valuable information about the place and how far I could get with my motorbike as the information I had turned out to be incorrect. Thank you.

It's one of the few, only two (?) in the area that are open in November and that might mean you don't have much choice... Which is indeed the case, but the scene couldn't be better. Very friendly and kind staff, we immediately feel at home. But what matters most is the quality of the food: excellent! Elio master chef!!!

Practically the only restaurant / trattoria open in Mellier during the period of our stay. We had dinner for 2 consecutive evenings tasting some dishes on the menu. Nice place and friendly service. Traditional dishes with poor ingredients such as stale bread and polenta deserve larger portions, I am referring to the first courses and desserts, the latter costing 3.5 euros but they are miniature.

We return to this restaurant once a year. The atmosphere is charming and there is a truly pleasant air of familiarity and friendliness. The food is delicious and of great quality

26/07/2024: In contrast to our restaurant visit in Aosta yesterday, Vecchio is excellent in terms of food, wine, service and ambience. Every euro is worth it. We were thrilled.
21/07/2024: An elegant and intimate restaurant in the old town of Aosta, which is worth a detour. A very personal cuisine through a mystery tasting menu or à la carte. For us, seasonal starters and a delicious pigeon in three courses. A suggested food and wine pairing that highlights Italian red wines and introduces white and curiosities like this dry Tokay grape variety. Excellent dessert

08/12/2024: I have been at Walserschild several evenings. I was lucky enough to taste simply delicious and well-plated dishes. Not to mention Raffy's pizza! Superlative, with excellent quality raw materials. Super helpful dining room staff, ready to satisfy every request! I will definitely come back Well done guys!
