I went for dinner on business: the restaurant is beautiful and clean. The staff is exceptional, professional, attentive, and friendly. The son was managing the place and was welcoming, precise, and extremely kind. The dishes were excellent, which is why we rushed back the next evening. The father was there: the evening was even better; he prepared the dishes himself. What can I say: unforgettable. I can't wait to be back in the area. A must-see.

Excellent restaurant. A la carte menu and set menu for work. Very nice, well-maintained venue. Excellent service. Good, healthy food. Fair prices. Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant, and 50 meters further on near the cemetery. Ample parking for trucks. Everything is fine. I'll gladly return.

I had lunch and I have to say it was very good. John is a very nice and capable guy, and the place reflects his personality. I recommend it. I haven't lived in the rooms, but the building is new, modern, and clean.

Tried for a business lunch. FOOD: Good food quality, with thoughtful presentation. The fresh tuna salad was very good. The Russian salad could be improved. SERVICE: Smart and friendly staff. Fast service. ATMOSPHERE: Informal, excellent for a quick business lunch. VALUE FOR MONEY: Good. Recommended

17/03/2026: Absolutely original and tasty meats. From American beef to bison and venison tartare. Must try.
15/02/2026: A small but welcoming restaurant located in Treviso's historic center; the staff is friendly and their menu is interesting. I enjoyed the appetizer (bison tartare), while the first course (spaghetti with seafood carbonara) fell short of my expectations. While I enjoyed the revisited version, the actual dish wasn't well executed (the spaghetti was undercooked, unsalted, and drowned in a water/egg broth—a far cry from a carbonara, which should be nice and creamy, regardless of the bacon or tuna). Excellent wine selection. The prices are moderately high considering it's an "osteria," but in line with other restaurants in the city's historic center.

Ristorante Bar Mocambo

04/01/2026: They're okay with the meat, but otherwise it's a throwback to the 80s with crappy dishes and middle-aged waitresses who won't let you down if you ask for the same thing twice. At the cash register, given the 'vintage' service, you'd expect a 'vintage' fare, but instead you end up with a very steep bill for the food you ate.
23/12/2025: We arrived without a reservation on a Sunday. The restaurant was crowded with large groups in the main rooms. Although the owner gave us a table right in front of the bar, unfortunately the skewer was already sold out, but we had maltagliati with venison ragù, delicious. We're already thinking about going back for skewered meat!
