We had a fish dinner. It was delicious. The service took a bit long, but it was worth the wait! Congratulations to Fabrizio and Liliana. Well done!

Downtown restaurant, no complaints about the food, good seafood spaghetti, and a reasonable price. The only drawback was the wait, which was a bit long for a restaurant that wasn't crowded, and the shouting that could be heard inside between the chef and the waiters, although they were very kind to us. It doesn't take much to raise the rating, given the quality of the dishes; looking at those at the neighboring tables, theirs were also inviting.

Slow service and terrible food, owners don't pay attention to customers. Not recommended.

The food was very good and everything went well. The people were kind and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the fish appetizers and the swordfish: really delicious! Thank you for everything!

I have visited this place so many times that I cannot believe all the negative reviews I’ve read. I’m not one to leave reviews often, but Da Franca deserves better than this. I’ve eaten here in different seasons—summer, winter—and every time, I’ve experienced the simplicity, genuineness, and freshness of their dishes. It’s not the fanciest restaurant in Diano Marina, nor does it have the most amazing service or the best wine list around. But its consistency year after year makes it, in my opinion, one of the best dining options in Diano. I live abroad, and whenever I return to my hometown, this is one of the few spots I always revisit. They occasionally offer seasonal dishes, like the fresh porcini mushrooms I tried during my last visit. I recommend the anchovies; the fritto misto is always excellent, and the baked fish and pasta dishes are simple, tasty, and well-prepared. I’ve had one of the best Amatriciana dishes of my life here. Last visit i had fried Porcini, and fresh Porcini pasta. Outstanding. Again, if you’re looking for a fancy place, this isn’t it. If you’re in a hurry during peak season, it might not be ideal. But if you want a good lunch or dinner with fresh ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to go. Price vs. Quality: Outstanding value. Ambiance: Very simple trattoria-style, no-frills and unfussy. Service: Straightforward and efficient, though occasionally rushed. Food: Superb. Wine: So-so but passable—maybe opt for a beer instead. Visited: First time: 26–27 years ago. Last time: September 2025.

We often dine at this restaurant, one of the best in Diano Marina, the fish is always very fresh and the homemade pasta is really excellent. Highly recommended!

Finding this restaurant was a great surprise, the best stuffed anchovies I've ever eaten and the first courses were very tasty, we will definitely be back, congratulations!
