We eat lunch here nearly every day during our 8 week stay in the area. Hands down the freshest and most delicious in miles. We only wish they were open for dinner, then we would simply never leave. A true hidden gem

We were welcomed late for lunch, a couple of us passing through. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff friendly. The food was good and served promptly. The dishes were plentiful and of high quality. Prices were reasonable.

We went here for lunch and had a great time. The food was good and the service was attentive and fast, despite the busy restaurant. We also really enjoyed the desserts!

This place is located right across from the Buoconvento train station. They serve good coffee, have delicious desserts, and have bathroom facilities. The staff are friendly.

I stopped here for a quick lunch with a friend. We had fettuccine with white ragù, a typical Tuscan dish, and pork with fennel, with two glasses of wine and then tiramisu. Excellent. Truly excellent. Lots of people stopped by for sandwiches, too, so it must be all very good. It's an osteria, so to speak, but the food is top-notch. The waiters were all very courteous and friendly. I don't know the price because my friend paid. I'll be back.

Trattoria Rigoletto

05/03/2026: Very small but very welcoming place. You could eat there just for the friendly waitress, but we recommend it for the food, which is fantastic. The Florentine steak melted in your mouth, and the freshly made tiramisu was delicious. Great experience 🔝
20/02/2026: Very good local trattoria in San Gimignano. We were here in winter so about 80% of the restaurants are closed. How do you know this one was authentic? Packed with locals at 8pm on a week night. Must try if you're in the area. Sausages with tomatoes and tusan beans was delicious, will be thinking of this meal for years to come.
