A fantastic hotel with first-class service. The hotel is very well located in the heart of Florence, and is easily accessible on foot. From the airport, the T2 tram takes 30 minutes to the hotel. All in all, a fantastic stay.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. The rooftop offers a breathtaking view of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. We reserved a room for two, and it had a window facing the inner courtyard. The hotel staff were very professional. The doorman took my bags, but when I told him I could manage on my own, he gave me a look that I didn't appreciate. All I had was a small carry-on backpack, and I didn't need his help, but he seemed to be expecting a tip. The room was relatively small, but I was aware of what I was paying for. The bathroom had a vintage feel and was super clean, and they provided plenty of towels. Breakfast was included with my room, and in the evening, I enjoyed the view of the Cathedral while sipping on some excellent cocktails. Whether you're going on a holiday or a honeymoon, I highly recommend this place. Even the comments and looks from the doorman didn't spoil the experience.

It was close to Florence Station, the facilities were clean, and most of all, I was attracted to the fact that I could see the Duomo Cathedral spire from the breakfast area!

So pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We got the wellness suite with a Finnish sauna in it. Walking in the hotel, we were impressed by the hard wood floors throughout the suite and the lobby. The hotel is old but we appreciate the history of the building being home to the princes in the late 1800s/1900s. The sauna was awesome. I didn’t realize it had a second bedroom. Location is great - in the middle of Florence within walking distance to all the places we wanted to see and the Santa Maria train station as well.

The hotel it’s self is very pretty and chic. It is a good mix of modern and old world. the rooms are very large with plenty of space for unpacking! I believe the hotel could be 5 stars if they improved in two things. The rooms were clean but had quite a bit of dust. And the room service ends at 10 (should be 24 hours) and the menu for room service is just food from the hotel’s restaurant. the elevator also broke down a couple of times during my 4 night stay. other than those things i enjoyed my stay a lot and very inexpensive for what you get

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and three days in Florence on July 25th. It was a great location and the staff in the lobby provided excellent service. However, there were two major disappointments. First, the air conditioning in the hotel room was not working properly. It wouldn't turn on or off, and even after removing the room card key, it continued to run. Even the maximum temperature was set at 21 degrees, which was cold. Second, the breakfast was subpar. The quality of the breakfast was below the hotel's standard. Of the eight hotels I stayed at in Italy, this hotel offered the worst breakfast. Insufficient food was not replenished promptly, and the food selection was quite limited. The bacon and scrambled eggs were empty for over 30 minutes. The staff suggested we dine outside on the terrace because there wasn't enough seating, but the terrace table was covered in dust. If we had been guided to the terrace, naturally, the staff should have wiped down the table and then escorted the guests. However, this was a very basic service for such a luxury hotel, but it was not provided at all. It was a disappointing hotel in many ways. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Baglioni had a great location and the lobby staff provided excellent service. However, the room air conditioning was not working properly. And the breakfast service was subpar (insufficient food selection, delayed replenishment of empty dishes, and poor hygiene at the outdoor tables).

The hotel was central and the places we wanted to see were easily accessible. Room and staff were great. The breakfast buffet was great but the only downside was the exorbitant prices for lunch and dinner neither of which were of good quality nor quantity and not worth the expense

Ristorante di qualità situato all'ultimo piano dell' hotel Baglioni. La visra e bellissima su Firenze si possomo ammirare il Duomo il Campanile le Cappelle Medicee e altro. Il servizio molto accurato e gentile, per il compleanno di mio figlio ci hanno accontentato alle nostre richieste. I piatti erano buoni, anche la bistecca alla fiorentina molto buona.
