The hotel is probably rated so well because of the good location! The reception was very unfriendly, the rooms are very old, we think it's totally overrated!

The location, with the possibility of parking, and the rooms are excellent. Breakfast could be improved.

Old hotel, they could keep it a little better. Only kindness at the reception ♥️ classic continental breakfast, nothing handmade. In short, for a hotel in the centre, it can be improved!

It's a hotel at Udine City Center and the most satisfying hotel.

Real rating 4.5 good 4 star hotel. A little too classic but well maintained. The staff is kind. Being in the center it is in a pedestrian area, so be careful with your car. Equipped with parking. Rooms a little small but functional. The room I had had a bathtub with shower

Very convenient location, right in the centre. Beautiful room in a retro style, with shower and bathtub in the bathroom. The electrical system only works when the key is hanging from the main switch, so if you go out you can't leave devices charging. Two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, then a kettle and tea and coffee bags available. The climate control is excellent and responsive and can be controlled at will. A sore point, as in many older hotels, is the soundproofing: you can hear everything that happens both in the corridor, in the adjacent rooms and in those above with noisy movement of chairs. We just have to hope that the other guests realize that in a hotel you can't shout like at home. Other positive notes however: dogs allowed at no extra charge and with a bowl provided in the room. For breakfast we were told that it was better if the animal remained in the room, take this into account if your dog is not used to spending a few moments alone in a new place. Very friendly staff, both at reception and in the dining room. However, breakfast needs to be improved: a somewhat limited and uninspiring choice, vegans should also be taken into account by adding a few more options (vegetable yoghurt, some veg desserts... otherwise you eat very little).

Even if the structure is dated, it is in an excellent location, in the center and you can get around on foot. It would need a refresher, very kind staff, mediocre cuisine.

We had dinner there with a tour group in the evening. The selection was therefore predetermined. We wouldn't have ordered like that. The food was ok. Our waiter was very friendly.
