I can only say that the food is good, the quality is good, and the staff are quick despite the crowds. The setting is outside, there's no luxury; it's obviously street food, but it's very characteristic in the center of Catania. I'll be back because the rolls were spectacular.

Located near the fish market, right in the center of Catania, this restaurant is popular with both tourists and locals. The dishes are generous and flavorful, and the prices are average for Catania. The pasta with pistachio pesto is delicious, and the service is attentive and fast. Special mention goes to the bald waiter who was able to recommend the restaurant and dishes to us while his colleagues at other restaurants were still trying to decide what to do. Recommended if you're in Catania.

A pleasant experience. I had a mixed roast and I must say the meat was good, tender and flavorful, with a Sicilian salad. Very fair price and attentive service.

07/02/2026: I've been frequenting this restaurant seasonally, mostly during the summer holidays, for as long as I can remember. My parents took me there when I was a child, and today, many years later, I continue to enjoy it. It's a regular stop for me when I visit Sicily, and over the years, it hasn't changed. We always find incredibly fresh products, simple, authentic cuisine that showcases the flavors of the fish without ever overpowering them, and above all, the warmth of the people who have always worked there with great passion and hard work. What can I say? Try it!

25/02/2026: We went for lunch around 2 pm. The market was still open. The waiter was lovely. We had lunch on the terrace, enjoying the market atmosphere and the sunshine—pure bliss. The ingredients were all very fresh. Caponata to share: €6 Octopus salad: €12 Fried cone: €12 (perhaps a tad pricey for what it was) Everything was absolutely delicious!
22/02/2026: Unfortunately, only 3 stars. The pizza, margarita, was okay, and the capriciosa was okay, but it wasn't a pizza, it was a pint with fresh tomatoes and a cold mozzarella stick in the middle. I was disappointed. We ordered large drinks, got small ones, and of course, the cash register charged us large ones. Only after we intervened did they change the bill. It was cold inside, and the music was loud, not at all in keeping with the atmosphere. All these poor quality items deprive you of 2 stars.
