HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The rooms are a little dated, but the staff and hospitality make the difference. Piero, in particular, is the best, always available and kind, ready to accommodate all your needs. The food is excellent. The location is very good. Although there is no private parking, it's easy to find a spot near the hotel. We personally highly recommend it to anyone visiting Villetta Barrea, and we'll definitely be back. Probably the best value for money!

Highly recommended, the hotel is spotless and strategically located for enjoying the national park. I stayed for a week and felt right at home. Mr. Pietro was incredibly kind, and Chef Luigi delighted us with his delicious dishes for both breakfast and dinner! I'll definitely be back.

If I could give the service a sixth star, I would gladly do so. We were treated with care and attention from the very beginning by Piero, a wonderful person. Another pleasant surprise was Luigi's cuisine, which delighted us both at breakfast and dinner. What can I say? With such attention to guests, even the small and normal imperfections of the hotel go completely unnoticed... thank you for everything.

Mr. Piero was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer advice and fulfill requests. Kudos also to chef Luigi, who delighted us every evening with delicious, varied, simple, and authentic dishes. The hotel was simple, clean, and comfortable. Giacomina the bear, who even walked by our window one night, was a real treat.

Excellent 2-day experience with the family, Mr. Piero is a very nice and knowledgeable person who gave us some tips for spending these 2 days in the middle of nature and not to mention Mr. Luigi the chef, super and very well-made dishes, we will be back soon, thanks Mr. Piero

Hotel in a strategic position for trails and visiting places of tourist interest. Clean and spacious rooms; the staff is very kind and the cuisine is excellent ... they also try to please vegetarians .... thanks to Piero and Luigi who pampered us during our stay

01/10/2025: Excellent food, naturally quality ingredients! Very good service! The desserts aren't up to par with the appetizers, first courses, and second courses! They need improvement to be impeccable!
15/09/2025: This place was recommended to us, rightly so, by locals during a social event, and I think I'll never tire of thanking them. We had a perfect dinner; everything we ordered was completely satisfying. The highlight was the friendly wait staff, always ready to accommodate any request, and the wine selection was excellent. It's easy to get to, as it's located on the narrow part of the main street near the luminous fountain. My heartfelt compliments to the entire staff.

06/09/2025: If you want to understand the difference between "eating" and "tasting," this is the right place. A traditional experience built on passion, attention to raw materials, dedication, and love for your work. Handmade tortelli, perfectly cooked grilled meats, mouth-watering first courses (literally). All accompanied by the professionalism of the staff. Vincenzo: competent, welcoming; Lorenzo: a young, passionate, and capable chef. The smiles of owner Angelo and his wife are a must for a memorable dinner. Everyone was good, everything was excellent. A highly recommended experience.
19/08/2025: Everything was exceptional! We were a group of nine and thoroughly enjoyed dining here. We tried a bit of everything: appetizers, first courses, second courses, and side dishes, and found every dish truly delicious and well-portioned. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful: special thanks to Vincenzo and the head waiter (whose name we unfortunately don't know) for their professionalism and kindness. If we ever return to the area, we'll definitely stop here again!
