We were passing by and hungry, so this restaurant came to mind. The menu is incredible; one dish includes a first course and a second course, both delicious and high-quality. The price is €15 for the menu, including water, coffee, and alcohol. The service was friendly and efficient, and the place is welcoming and clean. The food was carefully prepared and appetizingly presented. But what struck me most was the speed and courtesy of the service. As soon as we sat down, the young man came to our table to explain the specials of the day and take our order. He was truly professional and friendly! Furthermore, the restaurant has ample dirt parking, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot for your car. And if the weather permits, you can also choose to sit at the outdoor tables, enjoying the fresh air and the view. The only downside is that I don't recommend sitting at the indoor table in the back room under the air conditioning when it's on, as air comes out from underneath even when the louvers are facing upwards. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner on Friday evening, when 3 "creative courses" are offered (land, sea and vegetarian), at a fixed price of 30.00 euros. My wife and I opted for a vegetarian and a sea course. I must say both excellent, well cooked and with a commendable attention to flavors and plating. Kind and attentive staff, the owner, who explains each menu dish by dish, is a character, who makes you feel immediately at ease. The outdoor garden is a gem in the summer, even if perhaps the greenhouse should be hidden with plants, which is not very beautiful to look at. There is a large parking lot outside. The price is truly amazing for the quality and the environment of the restaurant. We will definitely be back. Congratulations!

Armilla is an innovative restaurant in its menus: they are presented very well and "never disappoint" both in terms of quality and concept. We have been there many times and it has always been a confirmation. The opinion of my guests has always, but truly always, been more than positive. More or less everyone has returned and become regular customers. Certainly the success of the place, from the kitchen to the management, is also thanks to the service which is always courteous and never superficial without being intrusive. I think it's really pleasant, with their innovative proposal, to have lunch or dinner at Armilla!

16/09/2025: We were in Griante for a couple of days and noticed this lovely little restaurant, lots of locals having their morning coffees and local honest food on offer. We ended up eating there on both nights.. The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and authentic, the saffron and prawn spaghetti was truly outstanding. The salad and cake were just as tasty. On the last night, I decided to have pizza, the bufalina. At first sight, I was a bit disappointed. No trendy cornicione, not even a bit of dry oregano... The pizza just had tomato sauce and the mozzarella had been put on after it came out of the oven... Let me tell you, that was one of the best pizzas I have ever had ( I am Italian, I have had quite a few...). It was light and fresh, both the tomato and mozzarella flavour uncomplicated by any herbs, spices or fancy cheese.. It was sublime, I could have eaten two! In the morning we had coffee by the lake which was so pleasant. The service was also incredibly friendly, we were made to feel very welcome and the waitresses remembered our preferred drinks etc. I wish I could remember their names, but I would like to thank them again for making our dinners so special
14/09/2025: Superb welcome from the staff. Seated on the terrace overlooking Lake Como and the fireworks on the other side of the lake. A very pleasant time spent with family. Generous and very tasty dishes and desserts.
