Excellent...never a mistake. As someone who's almost 50, I love the authentic, retro style...whoever comes to eat here knows what they're getting and doesn't want anything else. I love the homey, simple atmosphere. Impeccable, overly professional service. The only downside for me is that I can't go every weekend. THANK YOU, ARMANDO'S RESTAURANT

Kind and competent staff, excellent cuisine, excellent prices

I went to this restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of some fishermen, and it was a pleasant surprise. You can choose from the à la carte menu or from various menu options. We had mixed hot and cold fish appetizers (all fresh and plentiful), passatelli "alla Armando" (served dry and very tasty), and mixed grilled fish (plenty and varied). The stuffed cuttlefish skewers are exquisite. A good wine selection, and the house wine isn't bad either. The restaurant is large and tables are well-spaced. The only downside is the desserts, which are a bit bland and nothing special. As mentioned, it's a bit hidden, but definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

We're in Romagna... 360 degrees of warmth, kindness, good food, and simplicity. A smile never hurts, but don't be fooled: there's so much more. Piada with sardines is very good (I was skeptical, but I changed my mind). TOP fried food and Armando's cappelletti are an unbeatable surprise... They're not the usual cappelletti in broth... I won't spoil anything: you'll be the judge once you go. Excellent prices... What more could you want?

Mi sento di lasciare una recensione spezzando una lancia per il ristorante Armando! In cui andavo fin da quando ero piccolina con i miei genitori e sinceramente abbiamo sempre mangiato piuttosto bene. Vengo da una famiglia di ristoratori e siamo sempre andati molto anche a mangiare fuori nei giorni di chiusura (non avendo voglia di cucinare anche in quelli!) ciò per dire che, oggettivamente , credo di avere una certa esperienza nel giudicare i ristoranti. Lo scrivo in risposta ad alcune recensioni che ho letto molto negative che mi lasciano perplessa. Poi specifico, non è certo un ristorante moderno nè per quanto riguarda location né per il menù, si capisce che si tratta di un posto che era di moda intorno agli anni 90 e diciamo che non si è modernizzato, per niente. In alcuni piatti possono a volte andarci pesanti con l’olio ma questo è anche un po’ una tradizione romagnola. Insomma, pesce fresco cucinato senza troppi fronzoli ma si mangia sempre volentieri. Segnalo invece la grigliata mista che è davvero FENOMENALE, tale e quale a come la mangiavo con i miei genitori anni fa. Conto più che giusto e più onesto della maggior parte dei ristoranti della zona dove si mangia peggio. (Però magari con un impiattamento fighetto che inganna in molti)
