We took the mixed starter and first course menu. The five starter courses were excellent: fish salad, marinated anchovies, local clams with parmesan, scallops, mussels and baked razor clams, squid and bean soup... We chose the Armando-style ravioli in white with turbot sauce as first courses . Truly exquisite. All plentiful and well presented. To finish, a delicious homemade Creme Catalana. The waiter always attentive and helpful. The environment is clean, tidy, welcoming. Good quality/price ratio.

Maybe it's been over 20 years since I've been back to this restaurant..... Remaining as it once was, however if a restaurant not exactly in the central area is always full there must be a reason..... Excellent fish and with the various menus you really spend the right amount and the portions are generous...... Must try...... The final homemade digestives are excellent

as per tradition every year I come to eat at this fantastic restaurant with my family, today I took my boyfriend there for the first time and he was very satisfied, but I had no doubts! Excellent food and recipes carried forward by tradition, goodness is a certainty in this place. The staff very attentive to detail, super helpful and friendly. I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Armando and I'm sure that today he would be very proud of the progress of the place and the fantastic staff who carried on the business! Please carry on like this, you deserve a lot! See you soon❤️

2024 Update: I reiterate everything I have expressed in the past, I wouldn't change anything. Usual mix of starters consisting of: cold mixed starter, clams with parmesan, salted prawns, au gratin and mussels. Followed by mixed fried fish without bones and squid skewers (totally recommended), to finish with sorbet and limoncello. --- I've been going to this place for years and it has never disappointed me. I recommend appetizers (hot and cold mixes) and second courses, where fish reigns supreme. In my opinion, the first courses outshine compared to the rest. Absolutely noteworthy are the clams with parmesan, capable of surprising anyone and the squid skewers, which melt like butter. Sorbet and liquorice offered at the end of the meal.

Trattoria la Pace

07/01/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in questa fantastica Osteria nella quale il tempo sembra essersi fermato negli anni ‘60. Arredamento vintage, per chi ama il genere, lo apprezzerà tantissimo. Il locale non è per chi ama i ristoranti stellati… dimenticateveli… qui la genuinità è la protagonista. La pasta viene tirata al momento e ti sembra di tornare a casa di nonna. Abbiamo assaporato la carrellata di antipasti che ci sono stati serviti: focaccia all’uva (spaziale!!!), verdure sott’olio, tortelli alla lastra con zucca e patate, salumi di vario tipo, formaggi stagionati, crostini di beccaccia… tutto, tutto buonissimo! Complimenti! Tutto fatto in casa! Chi scrive che i salumi puzzano non sa distinguere un salume di qualità e fatto in casa da quelli industriali. I primi, tagliatelle ai funghi e tortelli alle erbe con ragù di cortile, erano buonissimi. Abbiamo assaggiato anche il capretto al forno ed era morbidissimo. Per finire i dolci, cantucci e vin santo e panpepato: eccezionali! Ciliegie e castagne sotto spirito e caffè completano un pranzo delizioso. Ci torneremo sicuramente e consiglio a tutti di non leggere le recensioni negative, non sono assolutamente meritate. Complimenti, continuate così!
