Ristorante Aristotele In Malcesine

Having been recommended this place, we were extremely lucky to find a table inside without having to wait. (There is a good amount of outside seating for the warmer weather.) Inside has an intimate and relaxed charm. We chose one antipasti and one prime course (pasta) to share. The Maitre D was perhaps a little judgemental about this and wanted clarification on what we wanted at what part of the dinner (we were fine to have them at the same time) however they went the extra mile to bring the antipasti out first with two small plates for each of us. Then the pasta first course was split into two individual dishes, so we actually had one each. The pasta was the best pasta we gave tried on Lake Garda. Absolutely delicious. My main dish of salt cod was also lovely, light and tasty. Great wines, this place is highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful and delicious experiences I've ever had. We entered this place with the idea of ​​eating a simple pizza, which turned out to be more than just a pizza. The dough was phenomenal and the ingredients were of the highest quality, including the tomato and everything, but especially the oil. They use an excellent quality oil from Campania. I could have drunk it from the glass. Not feeling full after the pizza, since the dough was more than light, we decided to order something else. We were offered this shrimp tartare, which was truly amazing, the best I've ever had, I was sorry to finish it. To finish, the desserts were even better; we were spoiled for choice. One of the most beautiful experiences and among the best dishes I've ever eaten. When the quality is high, there's no need to overdo it; the simpler things are, the more they enhance the flavor. The owner is fantastic, as are the staff in the dining room, kind and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back. Days have passed and our minds are still stuck on that tartare. You guys are fantastic.

The pizza is really very good and the location is nice too. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great (they forgot our order and ignored us), which made us feel rather uncomfortable. It's a shame, because otherwise it would have been fantastic overall; perhaps the waiter was just having a bad day.

While strolling, we stumbled across this place through reviews on another website. We ordered: one pizza, one pasta, and a children's portion of pasta. Plus three drinks. The pizza Caronte was absolutely delicious. Incredibly good. Very thin crust and raised edges. Very good and crispy. The spicy salami was a delight. My wife's Paccheri Gricia was incredibly good. A bit al dente, as it should be. Our daughter's tomato sauce was fruity and fresh. A poem. Thanks to the owners. It was a pleasure. The price was super fair and very good. We only paid €53. Top
