26/11/2025: They are still the best, the food is excellent, the meat is delicious, the refuge is comfortable and the owners make you feel at home.
10/11/2025: I went with my husband on Sunday, November 9.
The rustic Alpine-style restaurant has three well-lit rooms, the kitchen is huge, and they're very well organized, even for large groups.
We had reservations to be safe; it was packed.
The staff was courteous and fast.
We had an appetizer for two, with giardiniera, and the cured meats were tasty and delicious.
A portion of casoncelli with poured butter, truly remarkable!
And to finish, the skewer with polenta and potatoes for two... truly delicious, very soft and slightly crunchy on the outside, the potatoes delicious, and the polenta perfect.
We finished with coffee; dessert wasn't enough.
We spent thirty euros each.
When we asked to take away two small pieces of skewer that we hadn't finished, the boss in the kitchen added more, so the skewer portions essentially became three.
Congratulations, truly well done, professional, kind, and definitely capable of making you return again, perhaps with friends.
