Very large venue. We were there in the summer during the Palio weekend, which is the peak time of year. However, the large outdoor garden is very spacious, and the noise is diffused even when the place is crowded. The tables under the pergola are very dark. The service is fast, but not organized: we were served by four different people, which suggests there's no separate area or dedicated waiter. Unfortunately, the table settings are lacking, and they really need to be changed. It could be improved with very little effort. A plastic tablecloth placed askew, leaving half the table uncovered, is not a good idea. It seems unhygienic, and you don't know where to put your cutlery. It feels like a club/bar, not a restaurant. The first courses were very good. I chose excellent potato gnocchi with pumpkin. My husband had a good lasagna. Next, a chicken with potatoes, which were very dry and floury. The crostini with tomato and burrata was also delicious. I would have expected the bread to be toasted warm like bruschetta but it was served cold and gave the impression of being a bit stale.

The atmosphere is well-kept both inside and out. The food is generally good (the pumpkin gnocchi are definitely recommended). Unfortunately, I found this in many reviews. The service needs improvement, especially in the particularly rude manner of the person who, in our case, took our orders. We repeatedly asked for the children's dishes to be brought first, but were told that orders should be placed in the order of appetizers, first course, and second course. The result: the children received their dishes last. Even among the waiters (particularly the head waiter and the waiters), there were reports of nervousness and indifference, as reported by other reviewers. The staff's goodwill and commitment are impeccable. Service times were more than satisfactory, and we didn't wait any longer than expected. The ice cream is, I believe, among the best I've ever eaten. It was served fresh from a dedicated stand, with a final creaming. A delicacy. It's a shame, a little more serenity in the service would make the place more than recommendable.

Very nice place, but the food was unfortunately just standard. As a side dish you get exactly seven small pieces of potato. Otherwise they have excellent wine which they serve expertly.

We finally went!! Today, August 17th, was a super quiet day; the outdoor garden didn't even feel like we were in the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was good value for money. A peaceful lunch. The only shame was that there was only one dessert... the ice cream... I would have preferred something different, but it was still very good.

Excellent dinner, top-notch staff, top-notch managers. My wife and I closed the place. I would recommend it.

Fermato in questo ristorante quasi in orario di chiusura. Gentilissimi ci hanno fatto accomodare e servito un'ottimo primo e soprattutto un gelato fatto da loro che era meraviglioso.

Locale molto pittoresco e tradizionale appena fuori del centro storico di Cividale, con ampio giardino esterno. Abbiamo provato un antipasto di frico con polenta e portate di carne, maialino e capretto... tutto molto gustoso e sapientemente cucinato. Una chicca lo strudel - ottimo! - accompagnato da gelato fior di latte. Prezzo assolutamente onesto per la quantità e la qualità del menu. Titolari e staff simpatici, cordiali e disponibili.
