During a short holiday in Cividale in June, I ate here almost every day, mostly for lunch but also dinner: the place, with its tables under old trees, is enchanting and irresistibly inviting, with very good food and exceptionally friendly staff (which is by no means a given when you come alone, especially with a dog). The lady in charge (the owner?) in particular made my visits even more enjoyable with her hospitality.

Excellent dinner!
The restaurant is located just a few dozen meters from the Devil's Bridge.
The place is very pleasant and welcoming.
Both the first courses (herb cialsons) and the second courses (rabbit and braised cheek) were excellent.
The strudel with ice cream was excellent.
The restaurant offers the rare opportunity to have a bottle of excellent wine with your purchase.
Excellent value for money.
A special thanks to the waiter who served us: competent, professional, and very kind.
A lovely place to return to!

I'm sorry I didn't take a photo, but my cognilio ala padella was fantastic. It was made with radiccio, and honestly, it didn't need anything else. And the homemade fiordilatte ice cream. All I can say is, it's amazing.

The quality and deliciousness are beyond question. The dishes are delicious and well-prepared. But a two-hour wait for a first course is unjustifiable. It would have been better not to accept reservations, as other restaurateurs have done, rather than accepting reservations and making customers wait two hours for their first course. I advise customers to ask for the waiting time before confirming their reservation.

We had a great time at this restaurant! From appetizers to dessert, the meal was delicious! A unique dessert, but worth it! And, the cherry on top, it was very good value for money! I highly recommend this place!

Il cortile offre la possibilità di poter mangiare all aperto, personale veloce e abbastanza disponibile, poca scelta per vegetariani e vegani. Abbiamo ordinato una crespella, gnocchi al ragù di coniglio (carne dura), un piatto di patate al forno e due gelati (di buona qualità), un calice di vino. Pagato 56 euro. Mi sembra caro!

Fermato in questo ristorante quasi in orario di chiusura. Gentilissimi ci hanno fatto accomodare e servito un'ottimo primo e soprattutto un gelato fatto da loro che era meraviglioso.
