Excellent food, welcoming and very friendly owner and staff. Beautiful and intimate setting. Prices are still a bit too high.

We stumbled upon it on a Saturday evening by chance, and I must say it was a wonderful experience in many ways. First of all, the place is steeped in history, calm and warm, welcoming and quiet. The service was excellent. We chose the €50 Venetian menu, which included an excellent appetizer (Venetian-style sardines), a choice of two first courses, a choice of two second courses (Venetian-style liver and cuttlefish with polenta), and dessert. Aside from drinks and coffee, service was included, including a sorbet. Everything was excellent and very plentiful. The owner immediately puts you at ease and is truly a welcoming person. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I recommend it and would return.

A wonderful discovery! The food was (very) generous and of high quality. Friendly service. Excellent value for money. Authentic setting. In short, the best restaurant of our trip. Definitely worth the detour!!!

The place is spectacular, but the waiters seemed to be in such a hurry that they didn't respect basic table manners. Above all, it's a place to eat, and we were very disappointed, not to mention suffering from indigestion. The carpaccio was nothing special, the arugula wasn't fresh, and the carbonara was the worst I've ever had. They brought us a huge plate of clumpy, cold pasta that we ate out of sheer hunger. I absolutely do not recommend it.

The €30 set menu is quite good. Just be aware: the lasagna portion served as a starter is more of a main course than a proper starter. Apart from this minor issue with portion size, everything is delicious. Even the fruit salad is made with fresh fruit.

After reading rave reviews, we booked the restaurant and came for dinner with friends. The first thing we noticed was that it was deserted, and all the waiters were either Pakistani or from Asian countries. Not Italian. The waiter didn't know what Franciacorta was. We spent a long time explaining it to him. Then he brought a bottle of wine and, with a sense of duty, poured it all into our glasses. In other words, he hadn't been taught any service culture. The food was tasteless, and the seafood was clearly frozen. There was no Italian flavor or vibe in the restaurant. The waiters ruined everything, and the same goes for the kitchen staff. Towards the end, the owner, a very nice Italian, came and said hello. But the evening was ruined. I don't understand why good old, reputable restaurants hire these people who don't even know where they are.

Excellent food, complimentary aperitif and digestif. A real treat at a very reasonable price. Worth noting.

Really good food we had the margarita pizza, lasagna, and another muscle pasta all delicious. Highly recommend if in Venice.
