I decide to book here to stay in the Modena area, I think I couldn't have made a better choice. An environment that feels like home and a cuisine that is truly well balanced between tradition and modernity. Handmade pasta has its own reason. Really everything was excellent from starters to dessert. Excellent wine list. I'll be back shortly.

The restaurant deserves all the fame it enjoys. A very refined place with cuisine at the highest levels. I made the mistake of choosing a tasting menu (at the kitchen's discretion) and in this way not everything I was served was actually to my taste. I will have to return and order a la carte to add the fifth star out of five. If I have to make a small note, I found the choice of wines in the "bubbles" section a bit limited. Here's to this, if there had been some more possibility I would have appreciated it.

Noteworthy Valentine's Day. Although the restaurant has not been renovated but has remained like this for years and for the evening there was no decoration related to the occasion (it doesn't matter but...) the food never disappoints, in fact some dishes are of a very high level. They remain imprinted in the mind and in their simplicity they give a taste and a real emotion to the tasting. Obviously the dishes are not plentiful but you know.... The only discordant note I think is the coffee at €4... In any case we are talking about an espresso and that's what it is about. Of a coffee.

Bellissimo ristorante... Ne avevo sentito parlare da varie conoscenze e finalmente ho avuto occasione di provarlo per motivi di lavoro. Antica Moka è un ristorante adatto alle occasioni speciali, in particolare a cene di coppia ma non solo... Anche per tutti coloro che vogliano fare bella figura con i propri ospiti. Location elegante, con varie sale. Nota di merito per il tavolino di legno basso accanto al tavolo utilissimo per appoggiare le borse delle signore. Hanno servito un' entree apprezzatissima: " Macaron con spuma di mortadella, crema di miele e limone, crumble di pistacchio". Tra le portate ho avuto modo di assaggiare come antipasto: "Fondente di patate, scampi, pomodorino marinato, pane fritto, e nocciole piemontesi" (molto buono!) Come primo piatto ho assaggiato: "Gnocchetti di zucca, acqua di provola, crema di lenticchie, semi di girasole caramellati" (piatto particolare che mi ha stupito... Gnocchetti morbidissimi, sapori perfettamente bilanciati... Davvero riuscito!). Il secondo piatto (faceva parte di un menù prestabilito): " Petto di galletto farcito con prosciutto, cipolline al balsamico e mostarda)": la porzione era piccolina e mi ha convinto un po' meno.. ma questo dipende anche dai gusti personali. Come pre dessert hanno servito un "Tortellino di cioccolato bianco e burro di arachidi" (davvero ottimo)... Il dolce invece di ispirava sulla carta ma nei fatti mi è piaciuto poco... " Crema pasticcera con fragole e cialda croccante alle mandorle" (la cialda era fragrante... Ma nel complesso penso si possa fare di più)... Buonissimo invece il calice di passito " Dindarello Maculan"! Come chiusura cena mi hanno portato al tavolo delle ottime "Meringhe alle nocciole" in accompagnamento al caffè macchiato...! Servizio gentile, accorto.... Ho avuto modo di conoscere e parlare sia con il proprietario che con la cuoca... Davvero gentili e bravi. Prezzi alti ma commisurati alla qualità e al servizio.

Un ristorante speciale, il servizio assolutamente impeccabile e il cibo veramente ottimo, curato nei particolari e di qualità superiore! Niente da eccepire. Di categoria indubbiamente elevata come prezzi… ma vi lascio guardare il menù! lo consiglio per un pranzo o una cena in tranquillità mangiando cose buone, cucinate con arte e cura.
