Antica Cagliari is a historic restaurant with a beautiful, well-maintained, and elegant location, oozing undeniable charm.
Unfortunately, the service doesn't live up to the name or the ambiance: some waiters appear disorganized and unprofessional.
As for the food, the quality of the ingredients isn't convincing. The seafood fregola is bland and made with low-quality ingredients, while the spaghetti with clams and bottarga is well-executed. The baked fish as a second course is average, with no particular merit. The seadas, however, seem commercial and low-quality.
Overall, an experience worth reviewing; not recommended.

Great food and ambience. Good service. Like the place as it has a bit luxury of luxury vibe and atmosphere even for lunch. No outside seating but still worthy. Very good choice of wine for my taste.

Elegant yet informal atmosphere, attentive and courteous service: Mauro is top! The dishes are very well prepared and the wait isn't too long. I had a second (two) plate of fregula allo scoglio, which I'd say was sublime, Oscar-worthy. My companion had paccheri with guanciale and saffron and tuna meatballs. We also purchased some bottles of wine to give as gifts to friends in Rome. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Claudia

Tuvimos una cena espléndida esta noche. Compartimos un plato de embutidos de Cerdeña y queso, seguido de dos filetes muy agradables con ensalada mixta y patatas fritas encantadoras. Una botella de sabroso vino tinto de Cerdeña era buena compañía! Dos expresos terminaron esta agradable cena. Todo por 100€. Recomendable si estás en Cagliari.

Sono stato con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante oltre alla qualità del cibo siamo stati contentissimi dell' accoglienza da parte del personale di sala davvero molto cordiale misto di antipasti ottimo e abbondante primi piatti spaghetti all ' astice davvero gustosissimi e fregola allo scoglio da leccarsi i baffi sotto consiglio del cameriere a bianco preso come secondo una spigola ai frutti di mare gustosissima per terminare il tutto tiramisù al pistacchio e sebada ci torneremo il prima possibile
