Antica Cagliari restaurant is a fantastic discovery! Upon entering, you immediately feel a warm and authentic atmosphere, typical of a real Sardinian trattoria. The cuisine is exceptional: I have tasted some of its perfect and flavorful dishes, and the grilled roasted fish, an explosion of taste! Everything seems to be prepared with the freshest ingredients and a lot of passion. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel like part of the family. Even the wine, a robust Cannonau, accompanied the meal divinely. The prices are more than fair for the quality offered. A corner of authentic Sardinia to visit absolutely, I will return soon!

First time in Cagliari, recommended by a local colleague we came for dinner. Extraordinary experience, starting from the welcome. Gigi the manager of the restaurant was definitely helpful and of rare professionalism, a great wine connoisseur who gave us excellent advice. What can we say about the food...spaghetti with lobster sublime, the second courses top notch. The prices are definitely honest for quality and quantity.
Highly recommended
We will return to Cagliari and return to Ancient Cagliari

I have to agree when people say that Italian food is one of the best. But in this restaurant is just even more! I had a delicious spaghetti with sea food and I have to say that the tiramisu was the best one I ever had! That kitchen chef is 10/10. The service from the waitress was also very good, they were both kind and helpful, the plates were well served and the atmosphere was cozy and calm. The price is reasonable, I payed €37,50 for a good wine + main dish + starter + water + dessert.

Good average food, I expected better from the reviews. But the reservation service doesn't work very well, so you risk being politely escorted to the door in a hurry, except having time later, once out on the street, to look for the confirmation email. Thus going from "sorry there are no tables" to "sorry please the table is that one". Not very nice not even having time to try the reservation made and being escorted out. And for those who are thinking about choosing the place, two well-dressed lady managers. Not two bums.
Ogni volta che vengo a Cagliari, vado a mangiare in questo ristorante perché secondo me fanno dei spaghetti con le vongole che sono la fine del mondo. Personale gentile locale molto bello e ampio.

Sono andata varie volte in questo ristorante e posso garantire che si mangia benissimo.
Ormai vado a colpo sicuro.
Che sia al mare o alla marina, so che posso sempre gustare dei piatti ottimi e freschi.
Pesce ottimo e idem i primi di mare, praticamente il mio menù preferito! A presto!
