Ristorante Antica Cagliari In Cagliari

The restaurant has a very nice and refined environment. We booked online, but when we arrived the owner claimed that my reservation wasn't there, only to change his mind shortly afterwards. It was quite annoying to notice that the owner responded in kind to the waiters, it's not nice for this to happen in front of customers, even if it can happen. Apart from this small mix-up, the staff made us sit in the room. The paccheri with prawns and bacon are truly excellent; the same cannot be said of frying. We had ordered 2 fried dishes for the second course which were served to us in a single dish showing a significantly reduced quantity compared to a single portion served on a plate. We also found it a little rubbery. Note of demerit for the service as the first courses did not arrive together: there were 4 of us and one person practically ate the first course when the rest of us had already finished for a while. Overall we were quite satisfied.

Superb restaurant specializing in fish and seafood! Special mention to the spaghetti with vongole!!! Very friendly and attentive service! Make a reservation, the restaurant is a victim of its success: always full.

Some of the best pasta I've ever had.

The food, the atmosphere and the attention were wonderful, our waiter a 10, it's a shame not to have asked his name because he really was very attentive, in case it helps, he had a beard and was young 😅 Really recommended and we will return 100% My only recommendation is that if there is a dog in the room, it seems to me that it should be per friendly!, that the waiters should not touch it and then serve the tables.

Dinner for couples with dog in tow. They pampered all 3 of us as if we were regular customers and yet it was our first time going. We ate an appetizer, a first course (seafood fregula) and a fried calamari as well as seadas, two glasses of wine and two bottles of water. Generous portions to share and really fresh and tasty fish. Spent €77 with receipt. Clean and well-stocked toilet.

Finally found sardines in Sardinia! Plus they were very fresh and delicious.

Great service and environment, but the meals did not meet our expectations. The antipasti were not good and pretty overpriced for the quality. Plates were also a bit wet. I think there are better locations and restaurants in Cagliari.

Very nice restaurant, located in a pedestrian street in the center of Cagliari, in an area full of restaurants. When you enter the welcome is super!! The restaurant appears elegant and simple on the outside, as well as on the inside. There are three rooms, all very beautiful and different from each other. We took mixed starters which we highly recommend, spread over different courses. As a first course we had three very, very good fregule. Too bad we had to wait almost half an hour to get them. There must have been a problem in the kitchen... For this reason we cannot give 5 stars either for the service or in total, otherwise we would have given them without problems. However, to repay the wait, after the fregule they offered us myrtle and sorbet plus a 5 euro discount!! Really kind and friendly! The overall experience was super positive, we know that we will definitely be back... maybe in the sea urchin season to try the spaghetti!! Greetings to Frenki. The Campo family
