My wife and I had lunch at one of the few internal tables in a small internal room and in the summer they have a covered outdoor terrace overlooking the street in this elegant refined restaurant located in the center of Tortona inside a deconsecrated church.
Spotless bathrooms.
Kitchen at sight.
Tables well set in an elegantly refined manner and the novelty is cue under each chair of each table there is a basket on the floor where you can place your bags.
Before receiving the first courses we received free anchovy foam and 2 grapefruit bon bons, focaccette and salami
We ordered as first courses:
1) tagliolini with tea, artichokes, mint and anchovy
2) agnolotti and barbera
As seconds:
1)bathed and narrow fillet with a side dish of culcuma, hazelnuts, potatoes, hot carrots and pumpkin
2)braised pears and polenta
Finally as desserts: we shared a feast with crunchy with ugly but good then chocolates and jelly then hazelnut biscuit then chocolate mouse then egg revisited with yoghurt
All good, plentiful, delicious, delicious.
The chef and owner of this restaurant Anna Ghisolfi and her sommelier companion Enrico as well as the numerous elegant staff in uniform, welcoming, smiling, competent, professional, friendly and helpful.
Extremely attentive service with the right waiting time between one course and another and fair prices for the quality of the dishes.

We received as a gift before receiving the first courses the anchovy foam and 2 grapefruit bonbons, focaccias and salamis

Very very good and very very good
The place is charming with an open kitchen and despite being very spacious, it is not noisy at all
The owner was very kind and very good at recommending wines
Extremely honest in prices
The chef's welcome is very pleasant and particular
We had the swirl of very good starters, the truly incredible agnolotti and the excellent veal fillet
For dessert, delicious chocolate and pears

Siamo tornati in questo singolare ristorante ricavato all'interno di una chiesa sconsacrata e le ottime sensazioni avute la volta scorsa si sono confermate. Accoglienza cordiale, salone ampio (come si può immaginare, essendo la struttura costruita per essere una chiesa) ma ben riscaldato; tavoli per un massimo di una trentina di posti, ben distanziati (privacy conservata); due menù degustazione da scegliere, ampia scelta nella carta dei vini. Il pre-antipasto offerto dalla casa è sempre ben gradito; dalla cucina a vista si può osservare l'ottimo impiattamento del cibo, che si conferma di qualità ottima. Tempi d'attesa giusti e rapporto qualità/prezzo sicuramente adeguato al locale. Consigliatissimo se si passa dalle parti di Tortona

Ottima location, adattata in una vecchia chiesa sconsacrata, quindi un locale molto ampio con cucina a vista. Accoglienza cordiale, numero di tavoli tale da permettere la giusta privacy. Menù incentrato sulle specialità locali, con ampia rivisitazione gradevole da parte dello chef. Carta dei vini ben fornita. Servizio empatico con descrizione dei piatti prima della loro consumazione. Eccellenti gli accostamenti e bello l'impiattamento. Tempi d'attesa giusti, rapporto qualità/prezzo sicuramente adeguato alla location e a ciò che offre alla clientela. Consigliatissimo.
