ristorante ''AMICI MIEI'' In Napoli

We (four adults and two children) had lunch in Ristorante Amici Miei. It was a calm day in the restaurant, so we immediately got a table. This family run restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a friendly atmosphere. To my taste the interior was a bit too dark though. We ordered some antipasti as a starter, a mix of vegetables, charcuterie and fish. The antipasti were good, but to be honest, we've had better elsewhere. And sadly the spumante had been open too long, so the bubbles were mostly gone. I should have sent the glass back. As a main course we ordered the pasta combination of the chef. The pasta was nice and the portion was more than enough to share between six people. I have to mention the home made bread with bacon and broccoli, which was really outstanding. Could have eaten the bread all by myself. After the meal we got offered some merengue on the house.

Nous sommes venus dîner deux fois dans ce restaurant. Le premier dîner était irréprochable sur le plan culinaire, le service un peu discutable, l’un des serveurs débutait probablement et a été un peu maladroit. Le deuxième dîner était quant à lui décevant : le menu du jour est en fait le menu imposé, certaines propositions de la carte n’étaient pas disponibles, en plats et en desserts… Le dessert qui promettait dans l’intitulé de grandes choses, s’avère être du nappage recouvert de chantilly. Cela n’est pas mauvais mais un peu décevant par rapport à la carte qui annonce un dessert travaillé. En somme, si notre deuxième expérience avait été la première, nous ne serions sûrement pas revenus. Les plats sont cependant savoureux et le service globalement correct mais les commentaires élogieux inquiètent sur la qualité des autres restaurants de la ville.
