A mid-August lunch with relatives, organized somewhat last minute. We booked for six just the day before. The helpfulness and kindness were remarkable. Fixed mid-August menu. Delicious food with top-quality ingredients! Many courses, just the right portions, and everything, absolutely everything, from appetizers to dessert, was DELICIOUS AND WELL-COOKED. Even though the restaurant was busy, we had a great time, and the staff took care of us. Another plus point for this place: I have allergies to a lot of foods, which I obviously made sure to mention when booking. I was unexpectedly welcomed and cared for. This isn't always the case, as I usually feel a sense of concern and annoyance when I mention my allergies. So, I received personalized treatment, which allowed me to fully and safely enjoy the delicious food and the festive moment! Congratulations to all the restaurateurs and staff!

I went for dinner guided by friends from the Cesena area, who recommended it to me several times. I was delighted to discover "Alto e Savio."
Alto e Savio is one of those rare places where you immediately feel at home, welcomed with sincere warmth and attention that is not only professional, but a genuine pleasure to host. The owner, helpful and friendly, looked after us with smiling, approachable, yet impeccable service. Even though we stayed at the table an hour and a half past closing time, we didn't feel the slightest bit rushed: on the contrary, we were pampered until the very end, and the owner chatted with us as calmly as an old friend.
Led by the knowledgeable owner, the dinner was a true immersion in authenticity: from the rich and generous appetizers, featuring fresh raveggiolo, fragrant giardiniera, premium cured meats such as spalla, a variety of crostini, velvety lard, and top-quality extra virgin olive oil, all sourced from the owner's farm or the surrounding woods. The first courses are a riot of flavors: potato tortelli with a delicate and enveloping venison ragù, tagliatelle with exceptionally delicious homemade guanciale, and porcini lasagne enriched with fresh and fragrant porcini mushrooms. The second courses are simple yet memorable: tender and flavorful wild boar stew, juicy roast beef, and delicate veal with tuna sauce. The grand finale is a silky panna cotta and irresistible mascarpone.
Here, every dish tells a story of care, passion, and respect for the raw ingredients. All at a more than fair price: €40 per person for a gastronomic experience that fills not only the stomach, but also the soul.
