Starting from the concept that everything is relative, I found myself very well.
Excellent fish, NOT farmed but caught, which is very fresh (the bones remain attached and the central spine is flexible, it bends and does not break).
Today's mixed fish grill, at a cost of 32 Euros, is abundant and suitable for two people:
1 sea bream
1 mackerel
1 sole
1 squid

I know the restaurant from the time when the current owner's mother was still in the kitchen. Today there is a slightly different offer than before, but still at the highest level!
Those self-proclaimed, apparently very "sophisticated culinary critics", who mostly come from northern climes, unfortunately only know delicious pizza and pasta, but comment "competently" on Venetian cuisine and the restaurant on Google, may hold back with their unqualified comments.
The range of dishes is small, but creative and of the highest standard. The service, mostly from the boss himself, is unsurpassable. Any traveler with culinary experience should definitely visit al Arena! A real treat!

We had high expectations, good fish, desserts in short. I must say the treatment of the celiac at the table was quite shocking. I understand and God forbid not having a separate kitchen, but having a plate arrive with bread inside after being alerted to the problem means having no idea.

Esercizio rinomato in zona e così lo abbiamo provato, uno dei 4 ristoranti di Borghese, non essendo riusciti ad accomodarci l'anno scorso senza capire il perché...... Cmq l'attesa è stata ripagata da piatti gustosi e ben preparati, un menù contenuto ma ben abbinato, location confortevole e funzionale, personale gentile e disponibile, il titolare simpatico e verace! La carta dei vini a voce con vista frigo! Una bella realtà in quel di Sottomarina.

Location semplice, dall’esterno difficile essere invogliati ad entrare ma una volta seduti al tavolo si capisce che la qualità delle materie prime è ottima. Un antipasto di pesce al vapore, due spaghetti a vongole, una grigliata mista di pesce. Una bottiglia di un ottimo prosecco (peccato per la la ricarica tripla rispetto al prezzo da cantina), due bottiglie di acqua, caffè. Totale 140€, manca la quinta “pallina” per la questione della ricarica sul vino. Personale giovane, attento, cortese. Bravi
