The food is good but the price is very expensive for what it is. We ordered two pizzas.

The food was good, but very expensive. I don't recommend it at all, as you could find a thousand better places for this price. They charged 3.50 for each piece of food used, and the service wasn't the best either. It's not recommended at all.

Omdat er op zondagavond niet veel keuze is wat betreft het restaurantbezoek in Siena bezochten we dit restaurant op aanraden van onze hoteluitbater. Niettegenstaande dit restaurant op het Campoplein is gelegen, is dit zeker geen 'touristtrap' met exeburante prijzen. Het is er wel druk... Wij genoten er van typische toscaanse gerechten met een glas lekkere wijn. Het was een heerlijke diner met een geweldige sfeer op zo'n prachtige locatie! Ietwat chaotische maar toch perfecte bediening.

Very good Pizza and nice service. Fresh Juice was very tasty. Not much to complain about, though the bathroom door was broken and and a little too greasy for my taste.

Abbiamo cenato qualche sera fa in questo ristorante riaperto da poco tempo . Abbiamo trascorso una bella serata avvolti da un’atmosfera unica come solo la piazza del campo può regalarti . Locale curato con un bel menu comprensivo di pizza . Staff gentile e disponibile . Abbiamo optato per un’ottima tartare , pappa al pomodoro , carpaccio di manzo e filetto . Tutto molto buono e servito con cura e attenzione !! Torneremo presto per assaggiare anche le pizze che avevano un ottimo aspetto .

The restaurant is ideally located on Piazza del Campo, with a breathtaking view of this iconic Siena square. We had a wonderful time there as a family during our vacation and received a very warm welcome. The staff is warm, helpful, and attentive, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers classic, well-prepared dishes without any particular pretension. It was tasty, simple, and adequate—perfect for a lunch break with a beautiful view. The prices remain generally affordable, although a little above average, which is understandable given the exceptional location. The only downside: the Spritz is priced at €10, which is significantly higher than the usual prices in the region (often between €3 and €6). This can be surprising, even in a tourist setting. The setting, however, remains the establishment's strong point: dining on the terrace, facing the Piazza, is an experience in itself. A good place to enjoy the place without any unpleasant surprises.

Special Celiac Menu!!!! Excellent gluten-free pizza! Very friendly staff and terrace overlooking the Piauza del Campo, a feast for the eyes and the stomach.

A great Saturday night in my Piazza del Campo! Great food, super friendly staff and great selection of wines and cocktails!

The view of Piazza del Campo and Torre del Mangia is unique. Unfortunately, the restaurant thinks that's enough. The service was unfriendly, and we were practically kicked out when our drinks were empty. The cappuccino was very expensive by Italian standards at €5 (I know you have to pay for the location, too), and not particularly good.

This is under much needed new management and different name “Esperanza1939.” Just opened this last week and although still ironing out staff responsibilities, the food, attentiveness and location were all excellent.
