Ristorante Alessio In Roma

There was a Japanese menu, so I was able to enjoy my meal with ease. The dishes were big and filling, and the portions were more than satisfying! Still, it was so delicious that I ended up eating it all.

This was the only restaurant during my trip to Italy where I was asked for a tip, so I paid the current US average. I didn't think I received exceptional service that warranted a tip, but I couldn't just say 0 in front of the waiter when they asked me out of nowhere when I checked... In that case, there were plenty of other restaurants around Termini Station where I would have liked to give a tip... It was the last dinner of my long stay, so I was a little disappointed. The young staff were very energetic and cheerful. The food was delicious. Just be prepared to be asked for a tip when you visit.

Very good food, service and atmosphere! We had an accordion player that night which added to the ambiance. The pasta with seafood was so flavorful. Pleasantly surprised! Beware - they do bring bread which you are charged for but we didn’t mind since most restaurants have a cover charge with no bread. AND …we ended dinner and dessert with a limoncello surprise on the house!

The Boss and I spent the day walking Rome and taking in the sights and by the time we were ready to dine, we were done with the heat, the noise and the hustle of the city. We wanted a quiet dinner and Alessio Ristorante delivered. We were drawn in by the sunken dining area, as though transported to a cool, quiet yet cozy dining room away from the city. We were seated and brought bread and water and given space to decide on drinks. When communicating our drink choices, we were informed of the evening dinner special and decided to take them up on the offer. We started our meal with a ricotta and basil ravioli with a rich, fresh tomato sauce and followed it with the catch of the day, a beautiful sea bass. As we sipped our drinks, The Boss a Bellini, me a Hugo Spritz, we were presented with the whole baked sea bass to view and approve. It was then whisked away and plated with sliced, braised potatoes and cherry tomatoes with rosemary and onion. By far, the bass was the freshest most flavorful, moist fish I have ever consumed. As though it brought the Mediterranean Sea with it to the table. When finished, we enjoyed a limoncello apéritif, and left happy, full and feeling as though we had really experienced an authentic Italian meal. Grazie mille, Alessio. Eccellente.

Very busy but for good reasons, quality food and at the right price!

The best. It closed our gastronomic experience, with the best impressions. Especially the margherita pizza and the tiramisu...all the money. Affordable prices. Honest.....

The service was very friendly and always made an effort to ensure our meal was enjoyable. The food (fish and steak) was delicious. Prices were fair. You can choose whether to sit outside on the street or inside.

Very friendly. And very beautiful food. Would I come again? Yes 100%! My partner and me just got engaged and this was our way to celebrate it.

Fantastic, last meal in Rome and by far the best, authentic pasta, pizza, good wine and staff superb, wish we had found this place at the start as been very disappointed by other restaurants
