Alessio has always been my favorite restaurant when I come to Rome! The staff is attentive and very professional. The food is "Roman doc". What more could you want? Ah, the pizza is amazing too!

I've been trying to make a reservation for the past 3 days.. calls.. email.. DM.. text.. I can't get a response from anyone/by any means?? UPDATE: I finally got a response... they are closed for repairs - reopening Jan 16th.

Myself and my son recently were in Rome for a week.This restaurant was superb,food delicious,surrounded by Italians,always a good sign,staff were friendly courteous and very pleasant.Superb.Love from Scotland .🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇹🇮🇹

The food was amazing! Since the starts and after dessert. The service here is the best, so kindly. We had bad experiences in other restaurants with high rating but not this one!❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 we r going to comeback soon👌

We spent our last Roman dinner at Alessio's. Beautiful place a stone's throw from Termini. Excellent food (super carbonara!!) and really kind and friendly staff. Congratulations guys!!

The restaurant is huge and offers normal Italian Cuisine from "mama". Nothing special or fancy, but decent. The prices are more or less normal for Rome. However, there are the standard tourist traps included, like paying for the bread. The customers are mainly tourists, but service is ok.

13/01/2025: Finally a real Roman restaurant in ROME! Bill Clinton, George Clooney, etc etc came to eat here. It's super good. The server is super nice. The atmosphere is friendly. It's really authentic with the charcoal heating right next to the table. The discovery of the underground places truly reflects the age of the establishment. The restaurant has an incredible history. The lobster pasta is delicious. But what about the lamb, the sauce is succulent!! Small welcome cup offered. A little downside on the tiramisu which was bland. The grappa is super good. THANKS. The people of Toulouse.

Giggetto al portico d'Ottavia

12/01/2025: We go to Il Portico regularly and we find it very relaxing with a warm atmosphere. The staff is friendly, welcoming and of course helpful. Pizza and burgers are very good! Puddings are tasty too.
04/01/2025: Restaurante tradicional en la zona judía de Roma. Zona muy turística pero este restaurante ha mantenido su autenticidad y encanto. Muy bonito.
