After years, we returned to Al Mago. Its a quaint location. It feels like stepping back in time. A large fireplace and glowing candelabras create ambiance. Excellent food. Nicolò recommended it to us and we had a great time. We'll definitely be back.

There were eight of us here and the experience was positive.
The atmosphere was rustic and informal, perfect for a group dinner.
Even though the place was busy, the wait was reasonable for what we ordered.
The Irish Angus ribeye steak was delicious: ordered rare, it was tender and flavorful, and served on a cast iron platter that maintained the perfect temperature throughout the dinner.
Kudos also to the service, very attentive and competent.

The place is worth the trip. Period. The food was average, I expected more, especially something more unique given the location. The staff was friendly but excessively slow and chatty with some tables, leaving others out. This aspect was not appreciated.

The restaurant is located in Albairate (Milan).
It's a medieval-themed restaurant. Inside, it feels like you're back in the 1400s, from the large tables to the atmospheric fireplace where they cook the meat right in front of you over the fire—simply fantastic.
The meat was spectacular, delicious.
The prices are high, but the quality of the food is worth it.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.
It would have been great if the background music had been typical medieval music.
I recommend making a reservation.
The restaurant doesn't have parking, but you can park for free on a nearby street.

Excellent restaurant for grilled meats. The rib-eye and Florentine steak are excellent. The fillet with lard is sublime. The location is incredible. It feels like being in a medieval castle. I highly recommend it.

We went to this medieval inn for a Sunday lunch celebrating a birthday. We really had a great time! 🤩 Divine food, from appetizer to dessert. The highlight of this lunch were the Florentine steaks, two Danish and one Portuguese, mouth-watering. 🥰 The first course with duck ragù and the fillet with porcini mushroom cream were also excellent. Everything lived up to expectations. The kindness and hospitality of the staff made this experience perfect and unforgettable. Highly recommended!
