The Al Mago restaurant is simply incredible. The appetizers are delicious, the meat is genuinely chargrilled and melts in your mouth. It was cooked perfectly, exactly as requested. The waiter who served us was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and he shared his passion for the history of this historic venue with its truly evocative atmosphere, faithful to the past. The prices are more than reasonable for the food and service. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return.

The magic of this place, an ancient inn that also hosted Leonardo da Vinci during his stay with the Sforza family, is not in its current name, but in the atmosphere that is felt upon entering the inn. In the center of the large room as you enter, the Visconti coat of arms on the fireplace where today the owner greets you while carefully preparing the different types of grilled meat. It is lovely to pass through the various rooms before arriving at the reserved seat and discover an open garden, partly pergola-covered, in which the aromas and birdsong accompany the lunch. The meat is delicious and the cured meats remarkable. The owner's daughter gave us excellent advice on the choice of pairing wines. The discreet but attentive service and the sincere and thoughtful decor in every detail speak to the pleasure of eating in this place that I highly recommend, just half an hour from Milan. A well-deserved 5-star.

The ambiance is spectacular, like being transported back to another era. Every detail is worthy of admiration. The service is fast and the staff are very polite. The meat is cooked right in front of you. The price is also fair for the type of restaurant and the quality of the food. The only downside is that we would have also liked to try the pappardelle with hare ragù, but unfortunately the kitchen was already closed at 10:30 PM, even though the restaurant was still full. I will definitely be back.

The restaurant, a splendid 15th-century inn, retains an ancient charm that transports you to another era, while still offering all the modern comforts. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, almost magical. The staff is courteous and attentive, always smiling. The food? Simply excellent! Authentic dishes, meticulously prepared and rich in flavor. The first courses are unmissable; the incredibly tender meat (cooked to order in one of the inn's large fireplaces) and the homemade desserts round out the meal perfectly. A place that combines history, cuisine, and hospitality. I will definitely be back!

Giornata pre-pasquale con amici. Bel posto originale dentro e molto bello all'esterno, ottimo per cerimonie. Abbiamo mangiato bene. Bel panorama, la signora molto cordiale.

Abbiamo pranzato lì per la prima volta e devo dire che è suggestivo, un vero tuffo nel passato in una locanda del medioevo. Cucina superba e squisitissima. Ti cucinano la carne in sala direttamente nel camino. Vasta scelta di piatti e vini..tutto di altissima qualità
