We highly recommend this restaurant for your trip to Capri! The traditional food is of high quality, and the service is very kind and welcoming. We tried several highly rated restaurants during our vacation in Capri, but this was by far our favorite experience.

I went with my girlfriend to the Grottino restaurant in Capri. The experience was magnificent. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Being a stone building and the restaurant in the basement, the environment remained cool and calm, despite the sultry heat outside. Advised

Historic restaurant in the center of Capri in a very characteristic restaurant (air conditioning remained from past years)
Service from the waiters (kind) but to be reviewed, the owner's company was pleasant and he also gave us some good advice regarding the menu.
Normal food, minimal portions.
Value for money: to be reviewed.

Today, my friend and I visited this place for the first time, and it was a true discovery! We stumbled upon it by chance, but how lucky we were. It was our first meal on the island, and the experience was exceptional. The owner of the restaurant personally attended to us — he was incredibly kind and attentive. The waitstaff was equally professional. There variety of dishes, and I’m sure everything is just as delicious as what we had. I ordered vegetarian ravioli, and my friend had seafood pasta. Both dishes were excellent! We left satisfied and full. Additionally, I’d like to mention that they helped me charge my phone, which was about to die — a very nice touch ☺️I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Capri!

If you want to eat real homemade Italian you definitely need to go there! I am huge fan of gnocchi and those gnocchis reminded me to my grandma’s ! The flavour of the pasta is nothing to do with the rest of the places ! Is very local and you are served by the very creator and owner of the place.
We have one of our best meals in Capri !

Abbiamo mangiato dell'ottimo pesce fresco con dei contorni della tradizione serviti in una versione rivisitata. Dato che il pesce era ottimo, abbiamo deciso di ordinare anche la loro specialità (un primo di pesce con pasta fatta in casa): la cocotte. Personale simpatico, cordiale e presente (disponibile a rispondere instancabilmente alle NS domande sul menù). Decisamente il miglior rapporto qualità prezzo che abbiamo trovato sull'intera isola di Capri. Consigliatissimo.
