5/5 stars! We visited this charming tavern and received a warm welcome from the friendly owner. The food was absolutely delicious, and the variety was fantastic! I especially want to highlight the homemade dessert – the panna cotta with caramel and blueberries was simply divine! My wife ate two slices. The limoncello was also homemade and absolutely delicious. We would love to come back, but unfortunately, it was the last day before their winter break. Nevertheless, everything was fresh, and the prices were, of course, typical for Capri – not cheap, but worth every penny. If you're looking for more affordable options, you might be better off going to Mallorca.

Gianfranco he is a gentle man ，he is provide high Quilty food and give us best service we get very happy night in Al Grottino.
Recommend dish Snapper and hot vegetable.

Exceptional food in a quiet, lovely, intimate restaurant. Very authentic. We had the grilled fresh anchovies, fried mixed seafood, rocket salad, wine and chocolate cake. The owner was a delight and we enjoyed looking at his pictures of famous people who have visited the restaurant. Especially Adam Sandler :) I forgot my sunglasses and the owner ran quite a ways into the central square to find us. It was the most expensive meal we had in Italy but well worth it. Hope we can return someday!

Small, cozy (maybe 40 seats), family atmosphere. Our fresh fish was delicious—brought it to us before cooking. The owner and staff are very friendly. And the Campagnia white wines were wonderful and inexpensive—a welcome change in Capri! This is not a Michelin star “experience” but a more authentic one.

Íbamos a otro restaurante cuando salimos al aire en este pequeño restaurante lindo y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho.
El propietario nos recibió en la puerta, no teníamos reservas, pero rápidamente nos mostró a una mesa para 4 .
El lugar se parece a las fotos en la web. Muy acogedor y pintoresco, tradicionalmente italiano.
Teníamos pescado y pasta con ensalada caprese y flores de calabacín rellenas.
No estoy seguro de lo que esperaba, pero la comida era deliciosa! Todo estaba tan fresco y sencillo preparado.
¡Sin duda un ganador!
