Everything was very good and delicious, very friendly and pleasant, a little noisy but bearable, we went on a Sunday and it was also a holiday and it was open 5/5 very well.

Ottimo ristorante storico nel centro di Brescia. Buonissimi i piatti tipici della tradizione lombarda. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Personale molto gentile ed accogliente, ci ha trovato un tavolo pur essendo sabato sera e non avendo prenotato.

Nonostante il cartello esposto che dichiarava "COMPLETO" siamo stati accettati e abbiamo cenato in modo soddisfacente. Abbiamo gustato la giardiniera, i casoncelli e lo stracotto. I prezzi, considerata anche la posizione centrale, sono adeguati.

A historic landmark in Brescia, Al Frate is renowned for it excellent food based on traditional dishes that go back in time. Jean Zane, the owner, is always present and his bigger than life laugh and personality make every dinner memorable.

Typically family restaurant with typical dishes from the region. Quality cuisine, very good service and a very pleasant retro atmosphere. Very good value for money. You have to go there.

05/01/2025: I want to share my experience because I can't help but speak well of this place. It is the third time we have stayed and with this last one we had the opportunity to get to know the owners and the staff; Finding them kind, cheerful and helpful. They have very welcoming rooms and apartments available in which we have stayed the previous times but this time, we were lucky because they showed us the new, recently renovated room (chalet style) which was beautiful, welcoming, clean and with attention to the smallest details. The restaurant a stone's throw from the living rooms; Excellent value for money with typical dishes of the upper Valcamonica. Excellent!!! The property has a children's playground, ice rink and in summer they also have animals. We will definitely be back, hopefully as soon as possible!

05/01/2025: I'll say straight away that I will return, very nice place, clean, very well received service, good food, certainly a bit high in price, but it's worth it.
28/12/2024: Splendid view of Maderno and Lake Garda. Very refined and tasty cuisine. Generous portions (with the exception of the tortelli, which are rather minimal). Medium-high prices. Courteous and efficient staff.
