If you're looking to bring some "outsiders" to enjoy the excellent traditional cuisine of Brescia, you've come to the right place! This is the third time I've been there or sent friends or family there, and they always make me feel great!

Nothing like the osteria of many years ago; now it's a restaurant like many others in the city center. The atmosphere is retro, the wall decorations are cute, and the inexpensive food at the entrance is nice, but it lacks atmosphere. The traditional dishes are good (especially the ossobuco) and the elephant ear braciola, and the casoncelli are decent, but the slow and inattentive service, along with the rather steep bill, discourages returning.

I tasted one of the best cuts of beef. The price is slightly above average, but the quality makes up for it. A legendary place, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Brescian cuisine.

The waiter was kind. The two of us ate a plate of mixed cold cuts and the famous casoncelli, two dishes in total. These were delicious... I think they were still tap water, because the bottle they brought didn't have a cap and cost €4!... and two desserts, in a jar, which had suspicious black spots... my companion ate it because he hadn't noticed, and I left it behind... total €49.50. I didn't say anything because I don't like arguments... but if I were to return to Brescia, I'd change places!

06/01/2026: We had lunch at the self-service restaurant. The dishes were excellent, perhaps the best we've had here in Tonale. The only negative was that we waited a bit too long for the polenta gnocchi with gorgonzola, which, quite rightly, are made fresh, unlike the other dishes. While I was waiting for my girlfriend's gnocchi, my pizzoccheri (which were delicious) got cold!
22/12/2025: A very comfortable lodge, accessible directly on skis, snowshoes, or on foot using the ski lift. The food is truly excellent and of good quality at a moderate price. For the outdoor area, I recommend stopping for lunch before 1:45 PM because it's shaded afterward.
