Whipped by the wind of a cold winter day, we couldn't find better refreshment than the restaurant at the castle
We were resurrected with the chickpea and porcini mushroom soup
Warm up with a glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
Wake up with meatballs with Colonnata lard
Rejoice with almond sweets
I recommend you visit Aiello with its beautiful murals and stopping for lunch at the castle guarantees true Apulian cuisine

Holiday in Abruzzo, dinner with friends. We booked because it was Saturday evening. Very good food, fast and attentive service.

Very welcoming and typical mountain restaurant with fireplace and stone furnishings. The first courses are small and also some second courses, when people go to town they like to receive generous courses but they were a bit scarce. You can do better

Beautiful place, the place is well served, very characteristic with a medieval theme, it really seems to be in a medieval castle. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly too. Fair prices...I recommend it

Locale molto carino, con ampio parcheggio e anche con un bel panorama. Tempi di servizio perfetti. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, dagli antipasti al dolce. Su tutti consiglio la chitarrina agli orapi, guanciale e pecorino. Personale gentilissimo, prezzi onesti. Il caffè potrebbe essere migliore. Sicuramente da provare. Nei fine settimana consiglio la prenotazione.

Dopo una lunga passeggiata per Aielli ci siamo affidati a TripAdvisor per scegliere un locale per il pranzo e abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante poco lontano dal centro del paese, con ampio parcheggio interno. Gentilissima la proprietaria che ci ha accolti e sistemati nel giro di mezz’ora nonostante non avessimo prenotato e il locale fosse strapieno. Il menù è variegato, noi abbiamo optato per gli gnocchi fatti in casa con il ragù, ottimi. Abbiamo anche assaggiato la verza ripassata e della cicoria. Due amari a chiudere un pranzo molto gustoso, con prodotti locali di buona qualità, per un totale di ca 40€.
