A Roman restaurant in Turin. It's nice to have a change every now and then; I love Piedmontese cuisine, but trying something different is a wonderful experience. The food is good, and the service is attentive and friendly. The place is simple but welcoming. The prices are reasonable, but it's not a cheap restaurant. I go back every now and then, and so far, it has never disappointed me.

Dinner on September 27, 2025 A pleasant atmosphere, with pastel colors on the walls and paintings of illustrious Romans, characterizes this restaurant located in the pedestrian area of ​​the Campidoglio neighborhood, from which it takes its name, a play on the homonymity with the hill of the city. A typically Roman menu, sure to please all tastes. We ordered supplì, stringy and well-stuffed; zucchini flowers, well-fried but a little less savory and flavorful than expected; a gricia and a carbonara, well-seasoned and with a nice creamy sauce, but we would have liked them slightly more al dente (though they weren't overcooked); excellent fried porcini mushrooms; and a dish of sautéed chicory. Overall, the cuisine gets a thumbs-up. Quick and courteous service. Acoustic comfort, despite the large number of customers, was decent. Average bill. Rating: 7.5

I ate a small amount, but it was good and well-cooked. The price, however, is unbalanced for the quantity of the dishes. This is obviously my impression. If you want to eat well...ok; if you want to eat...not ok; if you want to pay a fair price...not ok. Again, this is my personal opinion.

Invited by friends who knew this typical Roman restaurant, at lunchtime we went and had lunch outside, with an excellent Trippa alla Romana, a dessert Pasta frolla alla Romana (with ricotta and sour cherry jam) a bottle of Frascati Sup. , coffee and a Roman herb bitter. Very good service.
