Ristorante Al Burgo In Castellammare del golfo

Exceptional gem of a restaurant. To start with we received a very warm welcome and a peaceful, charming space after a wet and tiring day. We both chose the Chef's Swordfish with mixed grilled veg and salad. Oh my WORD! This chef has serious talent and the fish came with a chickpea puree and a vegetable espuma - delicious and wonderfully presented. We were also advised on wine and the Nero d'Avola was the most perfect accompaniment to our meal. We've eaten in several restaurants in Castellammare and this is our standout. We may be back tomorrow! Btw we haven't got to dessert yet!!!

Siamo rimasti colpiti sia dal posto in cui si trova il ristorante, davanti il quale si apre uno scorcio sul porto, molto romantico; sia dall'accoglienza e la gentilezza del personale, che ci ha saputo consigliare sui piatti ed il vino. Abbiamo preso due primi fuori menù, un gusto ed una freschezza unica! Per poi mangiare il Tonno in agrodolce, pescato la mattina stessa! Qualità è la parola giusta per descrivere la nostra esperienza!

On my first evening in Castellammare I found this little gem of a restaurant tucked away for a beautiful view of the harbour. Guiseppe made a few suggestions on traditional food and my swordfish with eggplant and mint accompanied by a fresh salad was so delicious. Very nice place located in a characteristic corner of Castellammare del Golfo, from where it is possible to enjoy the view in front of a nice glass of wine and traditional Sicilian dishes. The quality of the products is really high (I ate first and second courses based on very fresh fish. Compliments to the owner and the staff because they make you feel like you are at home. I recommend going there at least once (per day 😂😂) during your stay in Castellammare del Golfo ❤️

The menu is studied down to the smallest detail, with dishes that combine tradition and innovation impeccably. The fresh, quality ingredients can be felt in every bite, and the presentation is a real pleasure for the eyes. The staff is extremely courteous and professional, always attentive but never intrusive. The atmosphere of the venue is welcoming and refined, perfect for a special evening or an intimate occasion. Each dish was a discovery, from the appetizer to the dessert. I highly recommend the mussel risotto, which far exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to return to try other dishes on the menu! Al Burgo is without a doubt one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. If you are looking for a restaurant where the quality of the food and the service are at the top, this is the right place.

I ate two evenings ago in this restaurant overlooking the sea. A magical experience definitely worth repeating. My husband and I started our dinner with a sea mosaic recommended to us by the staff, followed by two amazing first courses. He had spaghetti with sea urchins, while I had ravioli filled with courgettes and prawns handmade by the chef. All accompanied by a good local wine. We will definitely return.
