A spectacular place, it seems straight out of a fairy tale with good service and an exceptional restaurant. Their chef prepares and takes maximum care of the menus, offering authentic delights for the palate without leaving aside the exquisite oil they produce from their own olive trees. We have felt very well cared for at all times. See you soon

First, the location and view of this wonderful restaurant were fantastic! Secondly, the food was exceptional! Truly every bite was delicious and I wish I had taken more photos to share! And lastly, Andrea paired each dish with the best wine!! His selections were amazing and complimented the food with a chefs kiss! My husband and I were so appreciate of Andrea and the entire staff at 588! We are recommending it to everyone we meet and will hopefully be back soon!!

Wonderful place and amazing food As soon as we arrived we entered a fairytale environment: really well kept with surprising details! We had dinner by the pool with a beautiful view of the Florentine hills. We begin the experience with a welcome prosecco accompanied by a gift from the kitchen. We chose the 5-course tasting menu selected by Chef Andrea Perini. Very good food, balanced dishes between the various ingredients present, and above all a lot of attention to the purchase of raw materials. There are many particular and high-level cured meats and cheeses that come from local companies and are then processed directly by the Chef. The elaborate dishes perfectly had all the flavors described on the menu! We really appreciated the combinations of the various EVO oils that accompanied all the dishes. The icing on the cake: the bread! Absolutely amazing! Well done, we will definitely be back.

In via Roma 588 in Bagno a Ripoli there is a village.. Borgo i Vicelli, inside a restaurant. At 588 I'm not going to talk about the location because being in the countryside and with a beautiful swimming pool there would be too much to say and I will soon be joining the service so I'll go straight to talking about what I experienced last night sitting at a table, served and pampered by the staff of this restaurant. And above all I enjoyed the dishes that this great chef Andrea Perini came up with. We have already known each other for some time but unfortunately due to the work I do I have never had time to have an experience like this. Yes, an experience! I completely entrusted myself to Andrea and his team and he accompanied us on a tasting where oil (Andrea is famous for his dishes paired with extra virgin olive oil from all over Italy) is the ingredient. Yes, because the oil here is not a condiment but is an integral part of the dish that Andrea makes you taste... oil is a fundamental ingredient of every dish. From the breads he bakes to the desserts. Yes, because even the dessert is accompanied by an oil, yesterday I ate a brioche bread with bean ice cream and black cabbage which is a masterpiece!!! A series of tastings of cured meats made by Andrea that you won't find everywhere. There is sheep, kid, mutton, figs and walnuts, perfect combinations for you to try unique dishes. Yesterday I ate an egg cooked at low temperature with smoked Casentino trout and its eggs that made me jump out of my chair! In short, niche, refined, local products, high quality and processed with an innovative mentality but which still carry with them the flavors of the past. Tasting of oils that already deserves to go back. Each dish is accompanied by matching glasses, with mainly Tuscan wines, with a few trips to Liguria and Lazio. In short, Andrea accompanied us with his passion on a journey of taste.. Thank you so much for the evening ♥️🍀

07/08/2024: The best brioches I tried in Italy, they are made on site, they are not one of those industrial ones, in the morning they give them to you warm, freshly baked and the price is very reasonable, highly recommended
25/07/2024: I stayed right opposite!!!!! Therefore I had three breakfasts. With my traveling companions we tasted a lot: even traditional desserts, a little each!!!!! All delicious!!!! Very welcoming rooms in the back where you can enjoy calmly!!!! Impeccable service. Highly recommended
