Great Ethiopian food! Super authentic and my book and probably some of the best you can find outside of Africa! The owners were incredibly sweet and we were gifted a lot of free food and drinks. Probably my best meal in Rome! Thank you Johannes and Fasika!

Highly recommended!!! A traditional restaurant with delicious food. What can I say about Giovanni: he's incredibly friendly and welcoming, and if you're curious, he'll tell you about Ethiopian culture. It feels like you're in Ethiopia. Compliments to his wife's cooking, they're excellent.

Very good Ethiopian cuisine. The owners are friendly and eager to introduce you to African culture. A true immersion in traditional cuisine. It feels more like being a guest of friends than a restaurant. Definitely worth a try.

I returned after many years away from Rome, and I must say the quality and hospitality have remained the same. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience authentic Horn of Africa cuisine. A huge, special thank you to the owner, a truly kind and friendly person!

A couple of friends and I had lunch at Enquatash. The place is full of references to Ethiopia and Eritrea, and local songs can be heard in the background, immersing guests in their atmosphere. We ate both the meat-filled Sambusa and the Zighinì, drinking Asmara beer with ours. The dishes are delicious and plentiful, reflecting Ethiopian and Eritrean traditions. Giovanni, the owner, is a welcoming person who reveals the secrets of these fascinating countries, offering customers top-notch service. Furthermore, we watched Ethiopian coffee being poured directly from a Jebena, as per the traditional ritual. The coffee was also very flavorful and served as a perfect end to the meal. Also noteworthy is the presence of typical products, such as exotic fruit liqueurs, which are of excellent quality and difficult to find elsewhere. I recommend eating at this restaurant both to those who have never tasted this cuisine and to those who have already tried it but haven't yet found a place in Rome to enjoy it again.
