The best restaurant we went to while visiting Ischia. Food was great, staff were very friendly and the location is so picturesque. Difficult to get to unless you have a scooter or car is the only thing. There is very limited parking at the restaurant but you can park down the hill a little bit for a small fee or further down for free. We had the shared platter which was very nice and had a nice variety of local produce as well as the Gnocchi and Scialatone, both also very good

Great experience! You eat practically in the midth of a chestnut tree ensemble on Monte Epomeo! Friendly people offering great food and some guidance to the island! If you ask for it at least!
Btw, it’s a family business. The daughter is the manager and communicator, father serves and in the kitchen mother and brother prepare some of the island’s best brunch experience.

Beautiful Baita I highly recommend it you eat well and everything is fresh special the homemade pasta you have to wait 5 minutes more but everything is good

What a treat to find this haven in the mountains. Park just below the restaurant and walk 1 km uphill (good shoes needed) to climb to the top of Mount Epomeo.
Amazing views
Then, for lunch, delicious homemade local meat, vegetarian dishes for everyone
Also the staff were so friendly and helpful
Can't wait to go back

Great relaxed atmosphere, lovely English speaking staff talking with passion about the menu. A very nice place to have a bite after walking up to mount Epomeo. The fresh orange juice, wine and Ravioli were great

I stopped at La Porta di Agartha during my hike to Monte Epomeo, drawn in by its original charm nestled among the thick vegetation. Although I only had a granita, absolutely delicious of fresh strawberries, I was warmly welcomed by the charming family who run this magical little spot, and they even shared a few local stories with me. It was a true experience — authentic, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
