Friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent and refined cuisine, location overlooking the port, very scenic in the evening. Dinner with friends, we will gladly return.

We had the pleasure of having dinner in this "little gem" of a restaurant overlooking the port of Maratea! It was really pleasant to dine on the terrace but above all to enjoy excellent local fish, together with refined cuisine that also respected tradition.
I highly recommend a first course: the ravioli (delicious!) And as proof of the true freshness of the raw materials, I also recommend the excellent tuna tartare! It will be really nice to be able to return in the future!

Excellent dinner in this lovely restaurant on the port. Exquisite food, we ordered raw fish, grilled octopus and a plate of scialatielli, all delicious. Friendly, helpful and smiling staff. Everything was taken care of even in the details. The prices are not cheap but proportional to the quality of the food :)

We had the pleasure of dining at the 1999 restaurant and were extremely satisfied. The romantic atmosphere is refined, perfect for a special evening with a terrace from which you can admire a view of the port of Maratea. Mr. Pino and his son Luca were very friendly, making dinner even more pleasant.
All the dishes were simply divine... We started with an appetizer of very fresh and beautifully plated crudités. First spaghetti with sea urchins followed by mixed grilled fish. All cooked to perfection, with high quality ingredients and a rich, delicious flavour. Wide choice of desserts and wine list.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the 1999 restaurant which exceeded my expectations, and I can say with certainty that I will gladly return to relive this experience.
As a starter I chose a blueberry cheesecake with raw red prawn, a surprising and delicious combination. The sweetness of the blueberries paired perfectly with the delicate flavor of the prawn, creating an explosion of flavor that left me speechless. Really, I'd go back just for that!
For the first course, I opted for spaghetti with sea urchins. It was a good choice; the pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce rich and flavorful, which enhanced the flavor of the seafood. Every bite was a pleasure for the palate.
Last but not least, the location was simply lovely. With a breathtaking view of the port of Maratea, I was able to enjoy each dish in a romantic and relaxed atmosphere.
In conclusion, this dinner was a great dining experience. I highly recommend trying it to anyone who wants to delight their palate in an extraordinary setting.

Esperienza bellissima al porto di Maratea. Il signor Pino e sua moglie ci hanno accolto come se fossimo a casa nostra. Ambiente stupendo con cibo altrettanto squisito. Consiglio vivamente, ritornerò appena capiterò a Maratea🫶🏼

Semplicemente fantastici, una cena a riva al mare con amici...prodotti freschi e fatti con grande cura, ci siamo fatti consigliare da Luca le pietanze è stata un ottima scelta, personale gentile e preparato attento al minimo dettaglio , lo chef il nonno merita una stella Michellen
