Beautiful place with a view of the port of Maratea. We trusted the staff's advice and ate divinely. Exquisite octopus, delicious cod and ravioli (super recommended) to die for! The owner proved to be knowledgeable and very friendly. Super recommended place.

Scialatelli??? €21 but seriously?
They didn't taste like reheated pasta
4 scialatelli (30 g per portion maximum) 2 small fries (one fry is good for half a person) a bottle of local wine…. €180 😂😂😂😂😂good thing it was sunny

We had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant. Beautiful location, you practically eat by the sea.
Very kind and welcoming staff. Even though we hadn't booked and the restaurant was full, they did everything they could to prepare a table for us.
Luca was very kind as were all the other staff, including the owners.
Excellent quality food, a pleasure for the palate.
They greeted us as if they had known us forever. They were really nice, they didn't make us feel like customers but rather like guests.
We will definitely return even if we are not really close since we come from the lower Salento.
If you want to eat well and feel like guests, come here. I highly recommend it.

I really liked the intimate and welcoming environment of this place. The soft lights and soft music create the perfect atmosphere." The flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients incredibly fresh!!! The service was impeccable. Excellent value for money!!!

Siamo stati a pranzo e abbiamo avuto modo di degustare gli straordinari piatti di questo ristorante frutto dell’unione di materie prime di alta qualità e dalla sapiente arte culinaria dello chef.
Dagli antipasti ai primi e secondi di pesce per concludere al dessert, hanno soddisfatto e deliziato il nostro palato serviti da un personale cortese e gentile.

This restaurant offers a magnificent view of the port, complemented by a warm welcome and an open kitchen. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are attentive. A great introduction.
The refined menu is a real asset. We enjoyed the “IL CRUDO” plate, highlighting exceptional oysters, as well as “IL GRANFRITTO DI MARE”, a light and perfectly mastered fry. The fennel-orange salad and roasted red onions add a touch of originality. Flawless!
One thing is certain: we will come back.

I had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant on the port in Maratea a few years ago and the experience was positive. The seafood cuisine is of excellent quality, with well-prepared dishes and fresh ingredients. All accompanied by a suggestive atmosphere thanks to the position on the port. A restaurant that I recommend to those looking for good food and a pleasant setting in Maratea.

My dining experience at Ristorante 1999 was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and the very attentive, friendly and cheerful staff.
My boyfriend and I took the carefully chosen menu of the day for Valentine's Day, which offered a delicious range of dishes from starters to desserts, all expertly made with simple, fresh, high-quality ingredients and exemplary combinations, every bite was a delight!
We can't wait to return to explore more of their delicious creations. Highly recommended!!!

The place is in front of the port of Maratea and therefore with a beautiful view, especially if it is in summer where it is possible to eat on the maintenance. The restaurant is run by the owners, very kind people who recommended excellent dishes. Spaghetti with breadcrumbs, olives and anchovies should be tasted as well as fried cod on bran pepper jam. The desserts from a renowned local pastry shop should also be tasted. If you are in the area stop for a good lunch…

Ristorante che ha una bella veranda, con vista panoramica del porto turistico di Maratea; anche l'interno è molto curato in perfetto stile marinaro, un pò sacrificato il bagno. Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma forse leggermente al di sotto delle nostra aspettative; comunque sia porzioni abbondanti e ben presentate. Servizio perfetto, carta dei vini molto buona e conto leggermente sopra la media.
