This review refers to the restaurant. Sunday lunch on a beautiful February day, a lovely place with a window overlooking the snow-capped mountains. Small but very interesting menu. There are four of us and we try various appetizers: egg with truffle, hen grisa in saor, two tartare dishes of Fassona della Lessinia beef (excellent). Tagliolini with local beef ragu, onion soup, mountain gnocchi, and spaghetti with tomatoes. Everything was truly excellent, as were the wines we ordered (a bottle of Durello and a Cabernet Merlot Haderburg Erah). Prices were reasonable and portions were adequate. Excellent service, very friendly chef. Highly recommended.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and restaurant in the heart of Lessinia. An authentic, well-maintained place immersed in beautiful nature, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax completely. The apartments are welcoming, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a warm atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. The silence and the view make for a perfect rest. The restaurant is truly excellent: traditional cuisine of the highest quality, dishes prepared with local ingredients and great attention to traditional flavors. Every course was a pleasant surprise, from appetizer to dessert. The breakfasts were plentiful and authentic, with fresh, carefully prepared ingredients. Special thanks go to the staff: kind, helpful, and always smiling, and of course to the owners, Giovanni and Elisa, whose passion and love for their work are evident—an added value that truly makes all the difference. An experience we recommend without hesitation and will definitely repeat. A corner of Lessinia that will remain in our hearts.

We come here when we need to breathe fresh air and eat delicious food. Elisa and Giovanni always welcome us warmly. The suite-apartment rooms are perfect, furnished for a couple or a family. The wood paneling and decorative pieces, such as chandeliers and wooden coat hangers, lend a warm tone to the rooms. The view from the windows is magnificent, small yet familiar, overlooking the main square of Velo, then sweeping across the Lessinia mountains and the snow-capped peaks of Mount Baldo on the other side. The breakfasts, featuring local and organic products, are breathtaking. In the evening, you can dine on refined dishes in the restaurant, which is also a treasure trove of art and craftsmanship. The surroundings are magnificent. Mountain lovers can enjoy numerous hikes both summer and winter, allowing them to appreciate a region rich in history and tradition.

I stayed on October 4-5 at the Albergo Ristorante 13 Comuni in Velo Veronese. The warm welcome from Elisa and her staff was excellent: I felt like I was walking into a friend's house, not a hotel! I wasn't expecting such a room/suite: full of attention and love for every detail, with a subtle yet captivating scent infused with the wood furnishings. The generous yet intimate spaces, including the splendid bathroom, felt truly spacious. The family story continues through the grandmothers' names assigned to each room. I won't reveal the rest of this property because it's something for those interested to discover during their stay. Breakfast is so delicious: exquisite flavors born from research and collaboration with the surrounding area, all geared toward truly organic food! I was fortunate enough to savor Chef Giovanni's cuisine: a feast for the eyes, the palate, and the passion that flows through every dish. Kudos to the entire staff, made up of smiling, professional, always kind, and even more patient young people. This structure, 13 municipalities, this town, Velo Veronese, and this region, Lessinia, were unknown to me, but they were a wonderful surprise.
