川江号子 Ristorane Cinese DI Sichuan In Roma

I had the opportunity to go to this Chinese restaurant twice which has a small but typical atmosphere. Convenient to the church of Santa Maria Formosa and a few steps from Roma Termini station. The food was good and varied, prices not exorbitant, in line with the quality of other Chinese restaurants. Service quite unfriendly and not always courteous.

If you’re getting tired of Italian food, I can say here is A MUST GO! I got the best Sichuan style food ever, spicy but also has diverse flavors😍The service is consideriate and sweet:) I would definitely come back!! ❤️

Excellent dinner. Varied and original menu. Not the "usual" Chinese restaurant. Lots of surprises and very good dishes. We'll be back.

With great curiosity we try this restaurant which actually meets expectations, traditional cuisine which is truly difficult to find. Excellent ravioli, the first courses are also very good. I will come back to try the more typical dishes because they looked really delicious. Service not very friendly, shame.

Clean environment and courteous staff. The incredible food, dishes both accessible for us Westerners and extremely particular and traditional dishes. Highly recommended for those who want to have a different experience than usual. Prices more than fair!

Pleasant discovery a stone's throw from the Brancaccio theater, and beyond. Right in the center, you will find typical flavors and product quality. Excellent value for money! Small place, I recommend booking if necessary, or going early in the evening. Very friendly and courteous staff. I will happily return, and I recommend it without a shadow of a doubt!

Il ristorante prende il nome da questa tipica cucina cinese...che non sia convenzionale si capisce dalla clientela,tutta cinese. Il tutto è molto piccante, ovviamente deve piacere,ma se apprezzate Ve lo consiglio vivamente. Il conto è onesto!

Premetto che vorrei tornarci per provare il resto del menu (che offre piatti cinesi standard e sichuanesi per la maggioranza piccanti) dato che la prima volta non è stata rose e fiori. Il piatto più buono in assoluto sono stati gli spaghetti con l'olio piccante. Non sono né caldi né freddi e il grado di piccantezza è giusto (ovviamente se non lo tollerate o non vi piace evitatelo). Il pomodoro condito con un pelino di zucchero è stato il topping più entusiasmante tra quelli proposti perché dava freschezza e dava più sapore al tutto; il cetriolo ripuliva la bocca e il bok choy era croccante al punto giusto. La carne di manzo era un po' asciutta ma messa nell'olio per un po' si è rivelata buona. Ammetto però che il ragù cinese degli spaghetti presi dal mio compagno era più buono. I ravioli alla griglia non erano male ma con la salsa piccante sono migliorati. Quelli al vapore non mi sono piaciuti perché la carne era un po' così e così e soprattutto era troppo dolce. I sottaceti cinesi sono stati una delusione perché vi hanno aggiunto sopra un mix di sale e MSG che ha reso il tutto salatissimo. Non si potevano mangiare e ho rosicato perché la rapa bianca e la cipolla erano croccanti e gustose (la carota no in quanto tagliata troppo erta). Non mi è piaciuta manco la pancetta di maiale piccante accompagnata da riso bianco poiché il taglio era PIENO di grasso. Se siete amanti di quella consistenza fa per voi; le verdure messe erano un mix di peperoncino verde, porro e cipollotto ma ho mangiato solo quest'ultimo. Gli altri due erano troppo per me, specie il secondo poiché avevano messo le parti più dure da masticare nonostante la cottura rapida nel wok. Nella salsa piccante (la famosa Lao Gan Ma) c'era la soia nera fermentata che dava un sapore sapido al punto giusto. Con un'acqua e 2 lattine di Coca Cola abbiamo speso 47,50 euro. A fine pasto portano i biscotti della fortuna. Il servizio è sbrigativo ma lodo la cameriera gentilissima che ha portato al tavolo il POS perché è stata la seconda gioia durante la cena.
